THR confirmed that The Walking Dead has cast Tyler James Williams (Go On, Everybody Hates Chris) in its fifth season!
The actor will play a character named Noah, though no further details, including how long the character’s run will last, have been revealed. The news confirms rumors swirling in the community of the zombie hit after Williams was spotted on the Atlanta set last month.
Hmmmm… there’s no Noah in the comics, right? Could this character just be a new addition? What do you think?

As long as he is in the vain of Jesus and is not REPLACING Jesus I’m cool with that. Jesus is my 2nd favorite male character (after Rick) and I will be depressed for months if they never bring him to life on the show.

not to be a stickler, but Jesus was a scout for the Hilltop, not Alexandria. If he was to be an Alexandria character, maybe Heath? To me though, It seems that Alexandria should not show up till season 6 or so.
Whoops! My mistake. I’m use to him being with Rick. I agree, Alexandria should only appear maybe as a teaser at the end of season 5 and then we see it fully in season 6. Similar to the prison.
Well you’re in for a shock, they’re alreay filming at the alexandria set for episode 13 of season 5. It’s at the gin property in senoia, down the street from where Woodbury is.

If anyone remembers, there is a character named “Noah” in The Walking Dead: Survival Instincts Game. Matches his ethnicity and age. I think it is safe to say it is him by the physical features and his name.
Does no one rememer “Noah Cruz” from Survival Instinct? He was a character, who looked exactly the same as Tyler Williams; that Daryl encounter in the beginning of the game. Later; Noah is seen again; at the Cleburne HOSPITAL; where he has been captured by a deranged doctor, who has been residing in the hospital sense the outbreak; under the pretense of attempting to develop a cure through experimentation. Sound familiar?

Fontana, Georgia
Daryl Dixon runs into Noah after he had been shot in the shoulder trying to look for supplies by a “crazy sniper” on the roof (which was later found out to be Merle). Anna Turner is also there patching him up. He later leaves with Anna to go to the hospital.
Cleburne, Georgia
When he arrives, he is kidnapped by a nurse attempting to find a cure, being used as a test subject. There Daryl has the choice of saving him or getting medical supplies from the doctor. If Daryl saves him, Noah will thank him and run off to save Scout. Later you find him in a Local Store where he will join you. If Daryl leaves him and takes the medicine instead, Noah will escape the hospital and hide in a nearby local store, when Daryl enters the store and apologizes to Noah, who says Daryl can make it up to him in the next life, before he begins shouting and screaming loudly to attract walkers in to the store, hoping that the walkers could kill Daryl. Noah is then pulled out through a nearby window and eaten by walkers.
*Note-Don’t put too much stock in the last line, describing his death by walkers. In the game; Noah’s fate is determinate. And depending on what choices you make; he can make it all the way to the Atlanta evacuation at Firesign Stadium(end of game).
Firesign Stadium
If Noah reaches Firesign Stadium, he and another survivor will board the last evacuation helicopter. When Merle informs Daryl that the helicopter pilot has been bitten, Daryl tries to tell Noah but the helicopter takes off. Leaving Noah’s fate unknown.
If Noah wasn’t saved in the hospital, he escaped somehow. When Daryl meets him again and tries to apologize to Noah, he will attract walkers in hope that they kill Daryl.
