The level of loyalty fans have for The Walking Dead never ceases to amaze us. The awesome people at FanGirl Quest (Tiia Öhman & Satu Walden) have been traveling to famous Walking Dead filming locations around Atlanta to recreate memorable scenes from the show. According to TechInsider, “Öhman and three of her friends got the idea to start the project, Fangirl Quest, which uses “sceneframing,” on a trip to Wales, and they have been doing it ever since.”
In their travels they’ve recreated scenes from Sherlock, Daredevil, and Game of Thrones. To see more of their work and learn about their story head over to TechInsider or their Twitter page!
Hello, it is me, the photographer. First of all: it’s the greatest of honors to be featured on your website. You’ve made our day (year)!
Second: could you kindly fix a couple of mistakes: Fangirl Quest is just me and Satu Walden. We’ve had friends tagging along our roadtrips, but it’s me and her who run this website & photo project. Third: you tagged the wrong account on Twitter – you can easily confirm that by visiting the website mentioned in the photos’ watermarks.
Thanks again, so much! All the love from Finland <3
Awesomeness!!
I’m a Location Junkie myself and like playin with my pictures, but nothing like these! These are Amazing! Very Creative!
These are very neat photos and I have to say your presentation an eye is excellent as well.
As another photographer… just one small critique. The thickness of the iPad’s white edges really distracts from the immersion. If you had been able to print the photos and use even a white border of a few millimeters, it would have completely transformed the images and created an even more vivid illusion.
Of course, I don’t know what your limitations were.
Again though, I really enjoyed these a WD fan.
