Going to pick it up this weekend, on jasons recommendation I picked up the first novel, rise of the governor, am about 6 chapters in, an enjoying it. So should of checked them out earlier 🙂

Also, that does appear to be a church window silhouette, which probably means the Survivors are back on the road and for whatever reason Terminus became uninhabitable. Washington DC or bust!
It looks quite similar to how Rick was left off at the end of Season 4. In a dark, horrible, spine-chilling place.

How good would it be to see a propper herd, we have seen big groups of walkers , but a huge unstoppable herd of 1000s of walkers would be a hell of a sight
I was thinking about that herd that Daryl, Michonne, Bob, & Tyreese ran into in the car. That’s when they picked up the Terminus signal, so they had to be closer to Terminus. That was a HUGE herd….wonder where they went!!

Rick and co. take down Terminus before the second half of S5, and one part there will be Eugene pretending to turn on a car radio to listen for “news” (But he does turn it on) and hears that DC is overrun (Which he already assumes since he is lying to Abraham and Rosita and others), and tells everyone to stop their trip to DC and somehow it’s explained, and Terminus becomes Alexandria.

When Carol and Tyrese get their, Rick is waiting for the door to open and then making a mad dash for the fence to get his guns!! Then holy hell is going to brake lose and Terminus is going to be the new prison. In my opinion I thought the finale sucked did not live up to the half way finale. More Zombie slaying and less little house in the prairie shit.
It’s going to be hard for Carol and Ty to do anything at all with the baby with them.

Somebody commented below that DC is overrun and Terminus becomes Alexandria. I basically agree with this sentiment. Listen this show is filmed in a small town in Georgia. From what I understand, the state of GA has made it attractive for AMC to film there (tax breaks). My thought is that AMC is not leaving the state of GA.
Another thing to think about is that I wonder if we’ll ever see this series go back into a big city. I bet it takes ALOT of money to rent (close down) a portion of a city to film scenes in like they did in season 1. AMC built the prison and rode that horse HARD for 1.5 seasons (they got their moneys worth out of it). I wonder if they won’t do the same thing with Terminus now. It may end up being the new base for season 5 and part of 6. It’ll be interesting to see.

It’s gotta be the church. Whether it’s DC that we go to find it or another path. The key is the light. The silhouette looks like a church window, what gives it away is the refracted light. See the rainbow colors coming through. The glass is like a prism and is refracting the light cruising this. The most obvious windows that do this are located in churches.
i went ahead and circled it for ya, but if we look closer at the room with the candles, there actually is an arched stain glass window in the room. as for the writers purpose of just the one window has a whole lot to do with next season!
If you look closely enough on the ground the light coming in through a window resembles that of a church window. From reading the comics the best conclusion that I can predict would be that this is in father Gabriel’s church.

if you look back at some of the pics from where rick was running through terminus, you will actually see an arched stain glass window in one of the big rooms. it is surrounded by ordinary windows.

yeah, the room with all the writing on the floor and the walls. ive also noticed that every room and corridor that they sent rick and them through were marked with an “A”, along with the train car they were put in.
I watched this as well. Many things working in my brain on what is to follow. I have posted some of my thoughts. Hit me up, tell me what you think.
Your writeup for Season 5, ep 1 was pretty impressive! Thing is, it actually could happen that way! The exciting thing, even for us comic readers, is that there is more than one way this could go & although we have a general idea, none of us can predict. Gareth luring survivors for Negan is a possibility, but I think it would mean a tie-in much later in the show (not Season 5). Kirkman doesn’t want the show to catch up with the comic, so this thing with Terminus is probably going to be drawn out for a little while. Then there are plenty of exciting things that happen between this point and the point at which we get to Negan. And you’re right…when we get to Negan, he’s gonna be 10 times more severe than The Gov! We’re wondering how he’s going to be depicted on TV because he’s meant to be on a premium channel.
Your guess is as good as anybody’s about how this is all gonna play out. I am partial to the idea of Ty & Carol helping Rick & the group and that Beth is safe. You say you’ve “browsed” the comic… let me just tell you that if you love the show, you’d be blown away by the comic! And that’s coming from someone who didn’t read comics before TWD!
I will be diving into the comics immediately actually. I bought a book that has a bunch of the comics ( not sure how many issues ). I appreciate your feedback on my predictions. I agree that there is NO way to exact what is going to go down. That is what makes this show amazing. I am a bit pathetic with how involved I’ve become in this show. I talk about it as if it was really happening and that for the next 7 months those guys are gonna be trapped in that rail car .lol.lol.
What did you buy? A compendium? A soft cover volume? This site just posted a breakdown of the various books & how many issues they cover. I started with the hardcovers… got all 9, bought a lot on eBay, then started getting the singles to fill in the gaps. I still plan to get the hardcovers, just for collecting. You’re gonna LOVE the comic!

Yes its a soft cover compendium. Im looking forward to reading it. I also have both of the Actual books. Fall of the Gov. and Road to Woodbury. Thus far I have stayed away from the comics only to stop myself from addiction, however, the way they left me hanging in the finale, I figure what the hell, Im too far gone now…. You know what they say…” You can’t come back”..lol
Do you have “Rise of The Governor”? The books are standalone, but they do work better after you’ve read past the point of The Governor in your compendium. At least, that’s the way I did it & glad about it.

I think I have Rise of the Gov. But I haven’t even cracked them open yet. I plan to take your advice on reading them later on.

with what gimple has said about gareth not being the big villian in the whole terminus deal, i have to go with my gut of human trafficking.lol. the reason is the others being in seprate cargos and them “taking inventory of those who got put where. maybe the fact that they were herded in certain directions depending on how they arrived and with who. as for the bones in the fence, maybe family members they are trying t keep alive.

Season 5 is set largely in a chapel – the new home of Father Gabriel – while the gang are on their way to DC (having left Terminus with Gareth and his ‘orrible lot). Problem is – the chapel is full of walkers! Gah!
