Daryl and Alpha swapped leaderboard spots while Gamma/Mary stepped up to the plate in our Walking Dead Season 10 Power Rankings for Week Ten.
19. Alden
18. Luke
17. Kelly
16. Judith (-1)
15. Eugene (-2)
14. Jerry (-2)
13. Ezekiel (+3)
12. Michonne (-5)
Sorry guys, the less of Michonne we see the more we’re going to drop her in the rankings.
11. Yumiko (-2)
Yumiko’s only getting demoted because we haven’t seen much of her in the back half (yet).
10. Lydia (+4)
Lydia’s getting a huge bump for 1) showing up finally, and 2) saving Daryl’s life. Lydia choosing him over her own mother spoke VOLUMES, especially since Alpha basically gave her the keys to the company. Saying no to someone like Alpha would give anyone an extraordinary amount of power.
9. Carol (-1)
8. Mary (+2)
Mary literally put her neck on the line this episode to save some people she barely knows. She was so successful that we’re not even going to call her Gamma anymore! This is not Dante 2.0, Mary’s the real deal. She’s also the secret weapon that Alexandria and Kingtop need before the war kicks off.
7. Rosita (+4)
Rosita’s been kicking ass this season and we’re here for it. Outside of her badassery, Rosita did a full 180 on Mary – evolving from distrustful to friendly in the span of one episode. Plus, she’s not taking any sh*t from Gabriel. More of this Rosita, please.
6. Aaron
5. Beta
Beta may not have been successful in capturing Mary but he WAS successful in scaring the living shit out of half the Alexandrians (while murdering the rest).
4. Father Gabriel
Did Gabriel almost get everyone killed by going on a wild goose chase while Beta invaded his town? Sure. But did he also chase Beta away while saving/befriending Mary? You betcha. That sort of positive/negative story balance leaves Gabe right where he is in our rankings.
3. Negan
2. Alpha
Alpha lost a lot this episode – specifically her daughter and most of her body’s blood. Even though she (somehow) survived,
1. Daryl
Daryl probably should have bit the bullet this week, but by the power of makeshift tourniquets, plot armor, and Lydia, he managed to survive. And although Alpha is not more motivated to destroy his people than ever, Lydia still chose Daryl over her own mother. That’s usually a sign that your enemy isn’t doing so hot.
And that wraps up our Power Rankings for Week Ten of The Walking Dead Season 10! Tell us what you thought of our list in the comments below.
How can u put Judith at 16? She’s a child that has saved Mary, taken down Virgil’s attempt to escape and brought the giant beta down which is something considering Daryl is the only other person who has.
Disappointed in this episode the best part was Judith talking with Mary!
