The second half of The Walking Dead Season 8 will shape the show more dramatically than any half season before it. Losing Carl is only the beginning – Rick and his allies will oftentimes be forced to set aside their grief so they can finally end the war with Negan. There’s no better representation of this than the Mid-Season Premiere when Alexandria literally burns above the survivors as they bid farewell to one of the show’s original characters.
“He is the linchpin,” Andrew Lincoln recently told Entertainment Weekly in regards to Carl influencing Rick’s revenge tour. “It goes back to the flash-forward where my mercy prevails over my wrath. There is a balancing of the scales in Rick’s life that happens in the back eight episodes. A lot of it is because of what is said in episode 9, by his son.” Below, you can see this balancing act in the new promo for Season 8B, which premieres later this month.
The Walking Dead returns on AMC Sunday, February 25th at 9PM with an extended runtime of 82 minutes.
I am a big fan of this movie work at Pay to write my essay agency. We got so many promos and reveals for season 9 before it aired, since they were desperate for good ratings.
