Walking Dead actor Norman Reedus and Executive Producer Greg Nicotero have opened a pop-up grocery store in Senoia, Georgia to offer residents hard-to-get items during the COVID-19 pandemic. Nic & Norman, as they’re called on their flagship restaurant in the same town the show is filmed, partnered with Sysco Foods, a giant restaurant food distributor to provide essentials like toilet paper, sanitizer wipes, dry goods, and vegetables to the community.
“Senoia has done a lot for The Walking Dead and so we are really looking forward to supporting the community with our little pop-up grocery store,” Nicotero told FOX 5 in Georgia. “You know, we wanted to give back and hope everyone is staying safe and taking care of each other and hopefully this will help some people out,” Reedus said. “It’s a way to keep our employees employed and doing something good for the town that’s been so good for us.” Here’s how it works – people place their order online and get it delivered to them in their car on location. Nic & Norman’s second location in Chattanooga, Tennessee will also provide grocery options for its residents as well (see below). Although dining service may be closed for both stores, Nic and Norman are still offering curb-side service. For more, follow Nic & Norman’s on Twitter and Instagram.
