Well The Walking Dead really is everywhere. The state of Georgia, home to the production of The Walking Dead and Ray Charles’ favorite state, has gotten in on the act, putting Rick Grimes and some walkers on the cover of their tourism bureau guide. You know you’ve made it as a cultural phenomenon when a state tourist board knows that using reanimated corpses on the cover of their brochures will actually entice potential visitors.
By the way, for those of you who are curious, the lovely town of Senoia, GA is the home of Woodbury. Check it out in the online copy of the 2013 Georgia Travel Guide right here. (direct link to the guide in Zinio)
If you go to Main St. in Senoia (aka Woodbury) you should eat at Katie Lou’s Cafe… The food is amazing! Going back down there this weekend with my family. Just follow the smell of BBQ smoker…
When do they tape The Walking Dead there??
Because they can.
