“Us” starts with Abraham and Glenn’s group still following the tracks. Eugene’s lecturing on dinosaurs, viruses, and video games. When Tara finds a penny, he tells her how to make a battery. Clearly he’s smart, but maybe not the most socially savvy guy.
That night, Abraham and Tara keep watch. Abraham says he’s noticed how Tara watches Glenn and he thought maybe she was in love with him, until he noticed how she checked out Rosita. He realizes that her drive to protect Glenn is something different.
Eugene continues talking Tara’s ear off. Luckily, they come across one of Maggie’s messages: GLENN GO TO TERMINUS. MAGGIE SASHA BOB. He takes off like a bolt of lightning.
Apparently he doesn’t run too far or too long, because the whole group is together, albeit moving at a brisk pace. Abraham wants to rest but Glenn wants to keep moving. A walker falls out of a watch tower and splats on the ground. In trying to protect Eugene, Abraham knocks Tara down, hurting her leg. When Glenn asks if she wants to rest, she agrees to keep moving. Rosita calls Glenn out for being uncaring, and not noticing that Tara would kill herself to help him. Glenn ignores her and makes a deal with Abraham: if he’ll keep moving until sundown he’ll give his riot gear to Eugene. Abraham accepts.
Later, they come to a very, VERY dark tunnel. Abraham refuses to go through it. “You hear that? That there is a loooong, dark tunnel full of reanimated corpses.” He says it’s time for them to part ways since he knows that Glenn is going to insist on going through the tunnel. Abraham gives Glenn and Tara some canned food and a flashlight. Eugene compliments Tara on her looks. Tara tells him she likes girls. Oh, he knows.
Before heading into the tunnel Glenn reassures Tara that he does care about her. Tara tells Glenn that she didn’t really understand what was going on with the Governor, but she was part of it and she can’t change that.
They approach a cave-in in the tunnel. Walkers are trapped in the debris. There’s wet blood, meaning it happened that day. Glenn checks the walkers as he climbs to the top of the cave-in. There’s an entire herd on the other side. Glenn shines the flashlight on them, looking for Maggie, which draws them in. He says he wants to push through. Tara advises against that.
While they contemplate this we check in with Abraham, Rosita, and Eugene. Eugene wants to be the navigator. After making his case, Rosita allows it. As they drive, Abraham is napping in the back of the car and Rosita is accusing Eugene of being lost. It turns out Eugene’s just been leading them to the other side of the runnel instead of toward Washington. Abraham wakes up and is pissed. As he argues with Rosita, and meanwhile Eugene sees something out the window. “GUYS!” They turn and stare.
Back to the world’s scariest tunnel, the walkers are herding toward Glenn’s flashlight, a diversion. Glenn and Tara move down the land slide opposite the light when Tara slips and gets her foot caught. Tara tells Glenn to leave her but he refuses and starts shooting until he runs out of ammo. Out of nowhere a car shows up and a group opens fire. It’s Maggie, Sasha, Bob, Abraham, Rosita, and The Euge. Tearful reunion ensues.
They stack the bodies and make camp in the tunnel. When Glenn introduces Tara he says that he found her on the road, not letting Maggie know about her involvement with the Governor. Clean slate: unlocked! Abraham tries to convince the group to come with him to Washington. Eugene says that they should go to Terminus, see what they have there. Rosita agrees. Sasha wants to go to Terminus as well, as does Bob. Abraham defers to Eugene.
Maggie and Glenn catch up. Maggie tells him she intentionally caused the cave-in when they were outnumbered by walkers. Glenn’s picture of Maggie falls out and she lights it on fire, as her promise to him that they’ll never be separated again.
Let’s rewind the clock a bit and jump over to Rick, Carl, and Michonne. Carl and Michonne are seeing who can balance on the rails the longest. Carl wins and is rewarded with a Big Cat candy bar, which he splits with Michonne. Rick smiles as he watches the exchange. Still weird to see that. They continue toward Terminus.
While Glenn was still looking for Maggie, Daryl was getting acquainted with his new crew. We start with them sleeping. A walker approaches and hits their tripwire alarm. Easily dispatched, but they notice that Daryl’s walked off. They joke that maybe he found the Lincoln that took Beth. Len heads off to find Daryl, who’s squirrel hunting. He takes down the same rabbit Daryl does, which does not please Daryl. He tells Daryl that he’s claimed the rabbit. Rules of the hunt. He proceeds to antagonize Daryl over Beth, to the point that Daryl tries to pull his knife. Joe stops him before it escalates and explains the rules to Daryl. Their group “claims” objects, and that’s how they keep the peace. First one to claim something gets it. Joe says he’s not gonna punish Daryl for breaking a rule he didn’t know existed. He then cuts the rabbit in half and splits it between the two men.
As they head down the tracks, Joe grills Daryl on what his plan is. Daryl’s reluctant to commit to staying with them, and Joe tries to convince him that it’s best to join them. He explains what happens when you break the rules: you catch a beating. They stop at a garage for the night. Joe, who is apparently a cat person (Lizzy cheers), warns Daryl: “Ain’t nothing sadder than an outdoor cat thinks he’s an indoor cat.”
They head into the garage and one of them notes that no one’s been there for a while. Joe says that it doesn’t matter—they’re getting closer. All the cars are claimed for sleeping so Daryl crashes on the floor. Len freaks out when he finds his rabbit-half is missing, and promptly accuses Daryl of stealing, a serious offense. Before they come to blows, Joe once again intervenes. He empties Daryl’s bag and both halves of the rabbit fall out. Daryl says that Len planted it. When Len refutes that, Joe hits him and the group beats him. Joe saw Len plant the rabbit. This was a test, and Len failed it.
When Daryl wakes up and leaves with the group the next day, he sees Len’s dead body with an arrow through the eye. When the group hits the tracks, Daryl notices the Terminus sign. Joe says it’s a lie. “You think they’re gonna welcome guys like you and me with open arms?” Joe tells him who they’re after: Rick. They tracked him to a Terminus sign, so that’s where they’re going.
When they see a strawberry plant Daryl yells, “Claimed!” and takes it. He’s falling in with them.
They don’t notice the Big Cat wrapper on the tracks.
The last scene of the episode is Glenn’s reunited group arriving at Terminus, a large industrial building. There are sunflowers out front and friendly signs about lowering your guns. Inside there are more flowers, laundry, and a woman barbecuing. Her name is Mary. She welcomes them and offers to fix them a plate.
So what did you think?!
Reunited love!
Eugene (kind of) saving the day!
Daryl and his scumbag friends!
And finally… TERMINUS!
Is ANYBODY trusting Terminus about now? Can it actually be the peaceful utopia it seems to be?
The best comment (as judged by us) will win a Robert Kirkman-signed 10th Anniversary COLOR Walking Dead #1!
UPDATE: Our favorite comment belonged to Chris Bigger, who also successfully claimed it! Nice job, Chris.
At the ending of the episode. That’s got to be one of the hunters because of the cooked meat in the background. IT’S HUMAN MEAT!
That would make a interesting twist to hunter story arc
Big slabs of meat like that? Not like any cows are around. And has any caught a deer recently?
Soylent Green, it’s people!
I thought I was the only one thinking that….Charlton Heston movie. It is mans nature to survive no matter what. The world has gone to that level of desperation.
Have we (TWD) sunken to that level of desperation, or has the collapse of society allowed the psychos to run free?!
Yep, I was shook up when they where planning a rape. remember when they found Machonne’s shirt and they where calling dibs on who would get her first. I knew then any chance of humanity was gone out of the window. I do not hope for this but the handwriting is on the wall. I can only pray that the hand full of humans left outweigh the dreads of society. I keep watching weekly cheering for my hero’s RICK, DARYL, GLEN and CARL.
Surprisingly, no one ‘claimed’ her, or did they and we didn’t catch it? Yes, unfortunately, when society collapses, the dregs tend to rise to the surface. The final episode of the season looks like it will be a violent one.
Damn. I posted too soon!
human meat would be interesting…….but what if it is a kirkman trick? what if he WANTS us to think they are cannibleistic…
anyway, i dont trust terminus

I agree! I think they’re cannibals and that Beth was taken by one of them in that hearse. They’ll either find Beth dead or dying and maybe half eaten. Daryl will have to fight or kill the guys he’s with to help save Rick. This is just my personal take on their current situations.
Robert Kirkman-signed 10th Anniversary COLOR Walking dead # 1 CLAIMED
I CLAIMED the other half of that issue!
You should get it for that.Lol!
Yes I agree, Give this man the copy LMFAO laughing out loud!
Hey I did claim it and from what I watched thats right
you are following the rules
Activision’s Survival Instinct!! CLAIM….Oh wait that’s all yours.
That game must really be a bust!
I tried so hard to like that game. Had great voice acting and thats about it
Survival Instinct UN-claimed
Hey now I never said I liked it bub
Oh thats sooo good
Very good episode
i dont think they are at all because its all new, the flowers and corn looked familliar because it looked like the prison farm. But right now maggie n glenn are in lobe heaben so they could care less, lol but the finale will be crazy!!!!! i cant wait!!!!!
love heaven*
bring on the cannibals. that also could be beth cookin on the grill. you know all the guys wanted to eat her anyways LOL
Two things – no security at entrance has me worried. And 2nd – what’s on the BBQ? Humans? Are these the canibals from the comic??
I definitely think the people at Terminus are cannibals the woman seemed pretty creepy. Very good episode nice to see Eugene looking out for Glenn and Tara .
I was thinking shoot the creepy woman
I kind of like Joe’s character .
I think Joe’s ethical but not really moral. Shane on the other side of the fence.
Yes he is a shady figure but I like his rules not really the violence of the enforcement of the rules . Claimed and no lying are great rules . I definitely see what you are saying.
They are certainly on the one with casting!!
Speaking of Shane . How would you of voted about Randall keep him he can help or kill him he is shady?
i think I would have made a second attempt at blindfolding & dropping him off. I was with Dale all the way… can’t remember a time when I disagreed with Dale.
Dale used to be my favorite character on the show . I would like to think that I would be that compassionate in a crisis . I also liked his friendship with Glenn .
First movie I ever cried over was The Land before Time when little foots mother died . Second time I got a tear in my eye is when Dale died I didn’t cry but I was pretty sad loved that dude .
My last post to you probably didn’t make much sense I tried to edit it but lost signal on my phone . I was trying to say when Dale died and when Rick lost Lori were the only times watching television that made me feel emotional I was actually sad .
Funny… the ep in which that group showed up was called “Claimed”. Those fellas weren’t claiming the bed! Guess they were saving that for Michonne, tho!
Michonne is way to hardcore for those dudes to do anything to her they are red shirts except for Joe of course which Daryl or Rick will end up killing.
so i was being the spoiler fanatic that i am, and i found a new zealand trailer that showed rick at terminus!
Check it out:

I wish they would have kept shane around a little longer
Shane was my favorite guy to hate liked him lots more than The Governor on the show .
I hope Joe and his group don’t all die
Yes we need them around for a bit at least Joe .
I know I am kinda torn about them now
Terminus is not to be trusted, some say Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 is there o_0
Not funny. That’s over 200 people who are obviously dead in real life.
children were on that plane, you know? its like if you joked abut 911. this is really disrespectful.
I’m confused, how do you have 12 likes?
Was the commercials were annoying in that episode? Too many commercials in that episode.
Funny, I haven’t seen a comic book men commercial in that episode. Weird…
I saw 1, but might have been at the end of the show.
Nope. I re watch the episode this morning and there wasn’t a comic book men commercial in that episode.
Maybe during Talking Dead (?). I do get tired of seeing that commercial!
Haha she was soooo one of The Hunters. Did anyone else notice how there wasn’t any meat on the grill? … Not yet, anyway… Mwahahahaha
Hmmmm Terminus. You can’t trust any place that when you walk in there’s a smiling, happy person there to greet you…it’s just like going to the doctors for a physical, sure there’s a nice young nurse happy to see you, but we all know whats coming when we walk into that exam room.
They didn’t show update on Tyrce, Carol and Judith. Are they staying at house or going to move on?
they left the house last week at the end
I don’t give a monkeys left nut!
I get a creepy feeling that Terminus will be worse than Woodbury
the cooking lady was a little too stepford wife-y for my taste. I dont trust her.
It was the chick from Pet Semetary…I def dont trust her.
instead of burrying pets, she’s cooking them.
DUN DUN DUHHHH
ST:TNG, played an original crew member and her daughter.
Man we got to see everyone but Beth dang I was hoping they would kinda see what happened
She was on the grill ! (Even if I hope not !)
I really hope not
Abaraham zombie kill of the week
I want to BIG CAT taste like?
Daryl got the lucky Rabbit foot in that episode.
He also got bunny ass.
A not-so-fresh one at that. EW!
I think that Terminus is the place where the Hunters are at. It doesn’t seem like a good place to be
Awesome Episode!
When Tara first met Maggie lol http://giphy.com/gifs/12ZE7zEuD5F49q
Josh McDermitt is so fucking awesome as Eugene!!! loved his swag this episode! Also i was close with my prediction of Tara dying next(so close ;P) but i was so stoked to see 6 people gunning down zombies to save Glenn and Tara because i knew it was Sasha Bob and Maggie Eugene spotted on the train tracks! Awesome episode but im really worried about Michonne now in the next episode, that preview was a pretty suggestive…
Abraham rocking the fur collar
Hmmmm. Human sized barbecue pit. How convienent.
Seeing the Silhouettes of Abraham and the group made me think of left 4 dead
Now, we know that Joe’s Group are not the Hunters because they didn’t eat Len.
I was thinking the same thing looks like a bunch of thugs. But I’m torn with them they don’t seem as bad as I thought they would be
I agree. The Leader wasn’t a jerk to Daryl. I think, Daryl finds his new step dad in that episode lol. I’m going to be disappointed, When Joe’s group will find Rick for killing his friend and Daryl have to pick sides to help but Daryl goes to pick with Rick side. Man, next episode will be intense.
Don’t forget how they were talking whenever they were in the house that Rick was in. Then there’s the comment Joe said to Daryl when we first met him, about hurting other people. Joe let Len do what he did & then punishment was that Len was beaten to death. These fellas are BAD NEWS! Joe just happens to like Daryl, but we’ll see what happens when they find Rick!
We thought at first it might be some kind of cult but cannibals is looking like a possible also. Either way it seems like a bad place and where some may die again.
Don’t be dumb just be smart ha ha ha ha
That guy from the audience could wear that mullet well, now couldn’t he?
I see people like that all the time
Yeah, any given day/hour, they’re in the Walmart here.
I have a few I work with
I’m a girl…..but i could freaking rock that mullet.
I’m kinda like eugine…a lil bit smart, but very socially awkward.
Very good, and extremely hopeful. Though I do think next week will be HUGE!
Big cliffhanger. And why was Carl running in the trailer? And ALONE?
And why did they show Rick beaten up so badly?
encounter with joe? haha joe’s interactions with Daryl. total man crush
Old Southern saying, “Never stop to look at the flowers and don’t eat at any place named Terminus!”
Honestly, I thought that could be Morgan at the end of the episode but I was disappointed it wasn’t him. Man, I miss Morgan.
Notice that creepy claiming guy told Daryl that terminus was a lie. And the trailer for next week didn’t seem so cheery about the word terminus.
Lady says welcome to terminus: Que jaws theme song.
Lol!
It’s Mrs. Hannibal Lecter!
Yes she is.
Hannibella
I can not wait to see next weeks episode but I also don’t want to see it because I know that’s it
its going to be the longest wait to season 5 lol
Only half a year!!! ….yick… 🙁
No not long at all
It was cool to hear Eugene talk about video games
To hit on Tara, no less. Beautiful.
Even Eugene doesn’t like The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct.
I tried so hard to like that game
Soylent Green at Terminus!
or cerulean blue.
X files watchers better get that.
“To Serve Man”!
Tara is tainted meat. 5 bucks.
I really liked the reunion with Glen and Maggie. It was really nice
It wasn’t as “powerful” as I’d thought it be. Seemed like they had just seen each other the day before.
Am I the only person that thinks its weird that Maggie wasn’t suspicious of Tara body language.
Maybe at the time, since Glenn was doting on Tara so, Maggie was just really thankful that she helped Glenn survive. I can’t help thinking that the guilt trip will come back up, tho & somebody will take notice. Somebody else besides Glenn has to know that she was with The Gov’s group & make a stink about it.
I thought the scene before it was kinda dumb. don’t get me wrong, this is my favorite episode of the season, but am i the only one rolling my eyes when Tara got her foot stuck, and she was telling Glenn to leave, And they did the whole: IM NOT GONNA LEAVE YOU thing? a little too soap opera esque for me. But I’m hugely excited for the finale. looks great.
IF the Hunters are at the Terminus, then all the signs inviting people to come there remind me of this classic quotation: “‘To Serve Man’…it’s a cookbook. IT’S A COOKBOOK!!”
I kind of like how Daryls new group acts. The leader kind of has his own morality (Even though he is brutal)
Joe add a good element to the show in the way that Shane did. But I don’t think he’s got as much good in him as Shane did.
Well the most suspicious is the bbq part we dont is that is beth, when we see Daryl’s Scumbags And Rick WHO side is daryl is going to be
Rick’s for sure… Daryl is true to his group..
who is the actress who played mary at terminus???
Denise Crosby.. The one who played Tasha Yar is Star Trek TNG.
The Glenn Maggie reunite was so unexpected! In the tunnel with him saving TAra no matter what. Mary at terminus can only foretell crazy as in not good. Daryl and Sam.. Sam has that fearsome warrior wounded good guy at heart thing but we all know that darly is the true Lancelot character. I am just waiting for when Rick and Carl and all the rest see carol with baby Judith and break down and hallalouha, and when Rick sees that tyreese has foegiven carol… Maybe the cruel intentions of terminus will not be enough to outweigh the loyalty and true luv of our heros?….
Terminus is DEFINITELY worse than Woodbury. Why was it so easy to get into Terminus? No security! The chains on the gates weren’t even locked. No people around except for the woman who “welcomed” the group. CREEPY!!!
Those jokers were hiding somewhere, thinking about their next meal.
I’m ecstatic to see Maggie and Glenn back together. It’s going to suck when one of them get eaten. Probably at Terminus. All of us comic fans know the Hunters are coming at some point. Hopefully they don’t like Seoul BBQ.
Daryl has once again joined forces with someone trying to kill Rick. Like they wouldn’t have killed him and done unspeakable things to Michonne and Carl if they had gotten their hands on them at that house anyway. He should have already killed their sorry asses. In Daryl we trust, but this is going to get ugly…Good thing he has 4 rabbit’s feet for good luck.
Terminus…Quite literally the end of the line. Need I say more? And we though the Governor was the angel of death. He’s going to look like St. Peter compared to this. And speaking of saints, where the hell is Beth?!
Terminus will be Woodbury on steroids. Instead of one crazy psycho….MANY!
Wonder if the Big Cat wrapper on the tracks was enough of a clue for Daryl that Michonne is in the group he’s tailing? She was picking up candy bars and comics for Carl during her Governor hunts at the start of the season, and a tracker of Daryl’s skills would notice it’s real clean trash. If so, Joe ID’d the one person who knows who they are tracking. That means Daryl would only have to find a way to make that guy have an accident to buy the group some time.
If that’s too much of a stretch, he just needs to yell “claimed” ten times real fast!
OH Terminus, another Woodbury or even worse? Where is everyone if it is a “Sanctuary for All” HMMMM???? What is with the cult like lady at the grill wearing Beth’s sweater? Is this Joe Carroll’s cult in the apocalypse… my head hurts.
Rick! He looks hurt in the previews 🙁 Please don’t tell me they went to Terminus and chopped off his haaaand! MMMM MMM finger lickin’ good. :/

Maggie telling Glenn to burn her picture because he wouldn’t need it anymore makes me think she’s not long for this earth.
I was thinking that definitely narrowed the next death choices down to two. My bets are on Glenn.
Terminus= end-of-the-line in railroad speak. They’re cannibals and have their meat come walking right to them.
I have a feeling that what they find at Terminus is going to be WAY worse than cannibalism.
Hope everyone is watching ‘The Talking Dead’ right after TWD. Chris Hartwick is great and the guests are awesome. Really help with understanding and pointing out certain little hints in the show.
I do, I love it, haven’t missed an episode!!
Mary looked suspiciously like Lt. Tasha Yar, only older.
Suspiciously, she also looked like Commander Sela (which, of course she is).
I hope they brought enough fava beans & chianti for everybody.
I think there is an underlying evil at terminus. Maybe caged humans and sacrifice. Definitely something wrong there. A place that looks that good has to be very bad… Run!!!
What song was playing at the end
“We will make you a meal”
enough said
Terminus, a great place to escape walkers only to become sliders.
Eugene saving the day! Glen and Maggie would’ve never reunited had it not been for Eugene and Abraham’s army saving the day. Not trusting Terminus AT ALL!!
In the last episode the (non crazy) little girl pointed out to carol the giant smog of smoke coming from I assume the direction of terminus. Seems to me that they had just bbq’d a bunch of survivors earlier (maybe beth as she was kidnapped prior to that episode)
I think that was Daryl and Beth burning down the moonshine house.
True, that is possible, but that happened on episode 12 and they witness the smoke on episode 14. I figured everything is happening linearly so that would but the time of the initial burn at maybe a couple days prior to carol witnessing the smoke. Do you think it would still be burning by that time?
They’ve been showing the groups back & forth in time. Remember we saw Daryl & Beth first & how there were scuppernongs on the ground & bunnies in the log. Then we later saw Ty, Lizzie, & Mika & where those scuppernongs came from & watched Lizzie kill the bunnies. There were other little signs like that to show that what was going on with the groups didn’t run parallel with each other. With that being said, Carol, Ty, & the girls could have come up on the sight of that smoke the morning after Daryl & Beth set the fire.
I took it has being the house cause the smoke was black and then it was a lot. then also the burnt walkers. If you remember walkers was walking up to the house as they started to walk away.
**spoilers from comic** My guess is that the final episode will indeed be the hunters. A clue to this, or a smart red herring by AMC, is the teaser clip from “A” shows Rick showing Carl how to make a trap. Its a pretty elaborate trap that involves a funnel (the maps to terminus) and hiding the rope (making terminus look peaceful and welcoming). The similarities seems rather convenient but meeting the Hunters would be right in line with the events in the comic following the Prison. So what of Beth and how IMDB says that Morgan will be back in the final episode? Hell if i know…all I know is that Beth isn’t even suppose to exist in the comic so she could be whats cooking on the terminus welcoming party.
Don’t trust IMDb.
I feel like Beth is at Terminus with Gareth. Whether she is in one piece or not…..or tied up somewhere, hidden away is still a mystery….and long live Rick!!
Each episode title this season has been carefully thought out, I wonder what ‘A’ stands for?
Point A… they need to go to Point B? Good question.
Lol
Well, this last episode was called us, but maybe we’re reading it wrong. Think about it, next week its called ‘A’. USA
I think it’s obvious that they will eat Beth for their first meal, the car will be revealed once Daryl gets there at the end of the episode with Rick, Michonne, and Carl. Tara will be taken in for medical assistance and they will prep her for cooking cause she’s limp. That’s when Glen will notice something’s is odd with Terminus because of her absence. Abraham, Eugene, Rosita, and Sasha will leave for Washington, leaving Bob to get picked off to be next to eat after binge drinking til he is unconsciously drunk. Either Abraham or Tyrese will help Ricks group against Daryl’s group, Daryl will get hurt and rushed back to Terminus. The ending clip will be Daryl’s pain of Beths death while on his death bed while Terminus people are drawing down weapons on the group.
Seems legit.
You would be a good script writer. I hope you’re wrong though. (Even if I’m positive that they’re going to eat Beth…)
I would eat Beth….
Too boney, needs more meat
Good episode, got me pretty excited for the finale. There’s no way terminus turns out to be as good as it seems. Leaving the gates open? Yeah right. I also think Daryl has himself in a pretty bad crowd. When they catch up to rick hell have to make up his mind where his loyalties lie, which will be with rick if I had to put money on it. I also like all of the different stories that are going on right now but I’m ready for it all to come back together like it started to in this episode.
Nothing sketchy about that human body sized grill.
and on a side not i think this episode put to rest the theory that joes group are the hunters, otherwise i think they would have eaten that guy after they killed him
Joe’s group seems like future saviors the way Joe talks about the rules keeping them safe, much like Negan.
Ya i could definitely see the saviors using the “claimed” rule, Negan claims your wife you give her to him :P:P:P
Gareth is in charge of Terminus?
Nope! Jeepers Creepers is in charge of Terminus. BEATNGU!!!
Can’t wait till next week … Terminus is a trap… But I have a feeling Daryl will show up and save the day the only bad thing is that one of the guys got a look at rick after he was chocked out over the bed and now he can ID rick … It’s going to be mind blowing!!!! Love the show a big thank you to everybody who works soo hard to bring us the best show on tv 🙂
Negan is hiding in the Terminus.
nope. idont trust terminus. they would become the meal of the people in terminus. coz they are canival!
I definitely this Terminus is the cannibal hunters…and I think Beth is on the menu…
I now think the funeral home was a set up to lure people in…for dinner…just as I think Terminus, is a set up to lure people in (for dinner)…
I am thinking, Joe and his group capture Rick in the finale…good thing Daryl met up with that group…to save him…
Finale sure does have a lot to cover, for one episode…or we are gonna have a slew of cliff hangers (which is very possible)
Terminus is way too good to be true… There were no locked gates/doors and that Mary lady is super sketchy. I would get the hell out of there.
I was thinking that too with the no locked gates or doors and just one lady inside to meet people hmmmmmm
Or as others here have been suggesting… “to meat people”
“Those who arrive…. survive….IN MY BELLY!!”
Those who arrive… I’ve served.
LOL now thats funny
I don’t Tweet but I can’t help checking out that homage to Terminus up there in the Twitter feed! Awesome!!
No doubt it’s been mentioned before — at least I hope it has — but all the new characters introduced this season are really caricatures instead of characters. There is hardly any depth to them at all. Abraham is the muscle-y military dude (and where’s he able to find a barber in the Apocalypse to cut and coif his hair like that?); Rosita is a tart, I mean who in the Apocalypse is going to walk around in short shorts and tie off their shirt at the midriff to be all sexy? Is the show now going for the 14 year old teen boy demographic now? Eugene, surprisingly and despite his mullet, actually might have some depth to him; the gang Darryl has taken up with are simply foils to bounce Darryl off of. The writers have really fallen down with them so far this season and I hope it picks back up otherwise I’m anticipating major suck happening.
Bringing in one or two caricatures might be fun for a bit, but when virtually every single new character introduced is like that it signals a worrisome trend.
These new characters are dressed like that in the comics (that are great btw) and theyactually have depth, look at Abraham in the comics, or Rosita in the latests issues.
Completely disagree. Season 4.2 has been the best season since season 1. It also, oddly enough, stays closest to the source material, while driving the story in completely different directions. Abe, rosita, and eugene are almost exactly pulled straight out of the comic. Joes’ s group has been a great addition, showing a ruthless group of bandits who can work within a social construct of rule.
Who thinks Morgan may be at Terminus?
I’m thinking we may see him right after Terminus.
I hope so
I can’t help but feel that the man known for “clearing” will get some clarity about him & possibly become Rick’s next voice of reason.
Yes I hope so too. It’s hard to deal with loss hopefully he can pull it together. We do need a new voice of reason.
I hope so… and I hope they take him to D.C. with them.
Me too he is a very important character. Do you read the comic ?
Religiously 🙂
Awesome me too
Who’s you favorite character comic and show ?
Doubt it I think they will see him on the way to D.C.
I agree
I hope they bring him back but I don’t think he will be there
In this world, there can be no true sanctuary. The only sanctuary they have is each other.
REALLY KIRKMAN? only 2 minutes of CARL? show more, PLEEEAAASSSEE
Looks like you may get your fill in the finale.
yeaahhhhh
I don’t know what is worse. Eugene’s “pulling techniques” or Survival Instinct.
Signed Comic? CLAIMED!!!!
Terminus is as trustworthy as Miley Cyrus in office for President
Terminus=TerminATE
Abraham came through this episode seems like they are going to keep his character close to the comic which is cool .
I LOVE Abraham! Like Comic Eugene better tho.
I agree . I think he will be a key part of next season probably have some character development.
I want Ty and Abraham to meet up
Who do you think is going to die
Oh man lets see I think Bob, Tara, Beth, most of joes crew and I’m sure more then that
Man I love Abraham
initially sceptic about the 3 characters, warming to Abraham because as you say he is sticking close to the comics book, we haven’t seen much of rosita yet so the jury is still out, I like who Eugene becomes in the comics in the end but like
I previously commented am not sure on the comic element that he brings, he splits me hate and love equally this episode.
Rosita really doesn’t seem like she has that much of a part in the comic either through .
True, she should have a bigger part in the show like a few of the other characters have had.
If you had to make a choice would you date Rosita or Beth ?
Rosita, no contest.
What about you?
Beth , the actress that plays her Emily Kinney is 29 so ain’t nothing wrong with that lol .
No nothing wrong with that, am not really a blonde person, and there is something about Rosita 🙂
I have a thing for blondes
Rosita is my second choice then Michonne in hypothetical zombie apocalypse situation in real life my wife of course.
Maggie & Tara?
Tara then Maggie
Carol? lol
Can’t believe I forgot about Carol I would definitely make out with her I would say right in front of Tara.
Last Man Standing = Jason Thomas! Saves the human race!! Oh wait… casting call for Negan?
I would be looking for an island probably not a hookup lol .
I always told myself the best place during a zombie apocalypse would be a bank vault.
Why’s that?
I can’t think of a more secure place . My next choice would be a tree house I would be posted up in some random citizens backyard.
I was wondering why we haven’t seen a group come up with the idea…Hometree. We’d just need to find that guy from that show “Ultimate Treehouses”. Somebody else on here posted about hiding in the trees.
I’m actually going to learn how to camp this summer because of all my zombie talk.
I have often thought the the warehouse I work in would make a great zombie apocalypse go-to, the place is full of food, clothing and beds, lots of manual locks so that when the power eventually goes out I can still lock up.
LOL awesome. I like the idea of a school or hotel they usually have a huge storage facility of food everyone would hit up the grocery stores.
Like the walking dead teaches us though. If its too good someone will eventually come and try to take it.
Very true
That went over my head lol good one .
Ya made me think of Negan & all his women.
Negan would best be played by Mickey Rourke
He’s too old & wrinkly.
What about Luke Perry ?
Eh…. let’s put a spin on it….ICE CUBE!
DMX perhaps
That’ll work. I like Cube’s eyebrows, tho.
That’s random lol
good save at the end there 😉
No doubt
I would pick maggie over any of them. I have liked her since she was on Supernatural
I can’t think about Maggie like that she is Glenn’s girl .
If you was in the tunnel and had enough ammo to mow down the walkers what song would you want playing? Anyone who wants chime in come on. I would like Breaking Benjamin I will not bow
Mmmbop by Hanson
No…just… no
Not a fan ?
When I was the age to listen to that kind of music, Hanson wasn’t even a blip of a thought!
I agree… That would be like Mambo # 5
Oh god no. I think that would make me throw my gun down and use my hands cause i would be so angry from the song
LOL!!
Yes we need that kind of emotion anger is the key to zombie destruction.. And a mmmbop they are gone yeahhhh and a mmmbop they are gone , Hanson tailored made this song for zombie killing.
OK, I get that. So let’s go with….. “Loving You” by Minnie Riperton. Well, maybe not….that would make me do what Carol did in the comic!
LOL!
What about the cranberries zombie.. I very very very dislike that song ZOMBIE ZOMBIE ZOMBIE hey hey hey hey oh dou dou dou dou dou
Thats like Spice Girls wannabe
Let’s go with Aerosmith’s “Sweet Emotion” or Ted Nugent’s “Stranglehold”. Yeah, my Dead Head character is comic Andrea.
Uncle TED!!!!! I saw him in concert back in the day. My dead head is Abraham he is red headed like me we got to stick together
Skrillex’s “BANGARANG”
Blur song 2
Whoo hoo!!
LL Cool J’s “I’m Bad” (wanted to cover a different genre)
Ludacris MOVE
Anything by Beastie Boys….Ol’ Skool, baby!
What about Freshmen by The Verve Pipe
oh BROTHER!!!!
So you like it ?
About as much as Hanson.
I am starting to worry about Jason ” my brother from another mother” I think he may have a fever
Wha???
It’s a really good song lol .
Don’t Flex by 8 Ball & MJG
Gung-ho music, not ho music, lmao!
That’s how 8 ball & MJG serenade the ladies.
no doubt
Cannibalism is WAY too obvious. What’s going on at Terminus is going to be way worse and have as yet unforeseen/unimagined implications that are far reaching and will make the story less intimate/local…kind of opposite of how the CDC episode made the audience feel that the group and the rest of the world was now clearly on their own. The Terminus storyline will reveal that they are not. There is order or some official governmental system in play but there is a more sinister plan…some sort of culling or experimentation. Cannibalism is just so unimaginative and frankly kind of a punt at this point. I just don’t see it happening.
I’m struggling with the idea of cannibalism being too obvious. If it is cannibalism, I’m thinking there has to be something else thrown into the mix to surprise us comic readers.
How about a Beth Filet being enjoyed by Maggie?
Maggie would go Lizzie on us!
Agree. Not to get too real in this fictional world, but why stoop to cannibalism? Seems like a lot more trouble and danger than other survival strategies. It’s pretty rare to see cannibalism in the record of human existence into Early Archaic times. Why would people adopt it now?
To me, this would be for extremely desparate people. Although scarce, I see too much food to get to this level. Even in the comic, it’s hard to accept. This is also why I don’t believe that whoever snatched Beth has anything to do with the hunters…because of the food in the house. My only other reasoning is that there’s a group of people who’ve lost it like Lizzie.
G a r e t h !! Maybe he’s a good guy and the season ends on a hopeful note, then they decide to go to D.C early season 5.
walkers do it…ya know, peer pressure…
Hi guys !! Have you try to review the episode Claimed ?? … Do you remember the paintings inside the house where michonne seen a picture of a woman with a blood on her mouth , the sunflower (related to Episode 14) and a white dog (related to Beth and Daryl Story) .. Therefore i strongly believe that inside the painting was Mary in the Terminus so she’s a cannibal .
Yep, and Michonne said this can be useful. I think she will think back to that house and her defense mode will kick in. I also think she will be the cast member we loose. Classic magic trick watch this hand while the other is doing something else. All along Rick and Daryl where the front runners I think to take our minds off of who will be eliminated. You know TWD history, it is the little things that come back that are right in front of our faces that we tend to miss until it all comes together. That would be Rick James cold blooded if she (the woman in the painting) killed her family and left to start her on little utopia or was she crazy cannibal before the zombies came about who knows. Can not wait to find out.
all roads lead to this. Redemption is long forgotten, and the scars must wear themselves thin. R.I.P to the man who made the group who they are. Hershel we miss you dearly.
Hershel was a great character in the show and the comics, RIP
I can not wait until Glenn or Maggie(hopefully Glen) is killed off. I’m so sick of people on twitter saying ” Glenn and Maggie 4ever” or calling them “Glaggie” 😛 Love Eugene; he’s one of my favorite characters from the comic book so I was very happy to him using his smarts to go back for Glenn. It was an amazing episode. I always find it had to sleep on Sunday nights since my brain is so weird from thinking about that night’s show. It’s worth loosing sleep over. Oh that signed copy of issue #1 I lay CLAIM on that; it’s the rules after all 😛
Oh MY GODD
Those who arrive, survive? Anyone creeped out that there is no one around and the doors are unlocked? And how is it the Governor or any of his henchmen hadn’t seen any of these maps or signs?
Negan is waiting Rick in the Terminus to kill him off !!! 😮 😮
Cool pic of Rick & Lucille. Need heavier barb, tho.
Only prob with that.. Negan kills Glenn with Lucille, not Rick.
They could change, governor killed hershel instead of tyreese, and rick will not let negan kill him
my gut is tellling me that we have another “barn” situation. I notied there were NO signs of any walkers near this wide open place of terminus. and with the welcome signs, im thinking there is a section for people and a section for walkers.
This show has gotten me to be so untrusting, that when we had the happy reuniting of Maggie and Glen, i got a feeling in my gut that one of them will die next week.
as for all the cannibal claims, i see where you get this from. that was a reaaaally long grill.
that and the apron that says “The cooking here is to DIE for”
Terminus Cafe: now serving Soylent green!
Grimmy
ashamed to say he went back for seconds…and thirds…
I didn’t catch the apron quote!
I at least hope Rick and Judith meet eye-to-eye before the season ends, meaning Rick and Carol cross paths as do Tyreese and Sasha.
I thought Beth was abducted in a Caddy, not a Lincoln?
Mary is cooking Beth. Terminus is going to be a mix between the farm cannibals from season 1 of the game and the hunters from the comics.
I think the Sawyer’s from Texas Chainsaw Massacre are the scariest cannibals in so far be nice if The Walking Dead could top them .
You have the guys from The Hills have Eyes then you have the dudes from Wrong Turn I feel like I’m forgetting someone.
I posted this somewhere on here…. Terminus is run by Jeepers Creepers.
Oh yeah I loved that movie
BEATNGU!! Wish they’d come out with #3!
In the tunnel, when the cavalry arrived, I’m on my feet, going “BRAKKA BRAKKA BRAKKA!!!” Kids are like “Wut?”
“Those who arrive survive” Funny enough I didn’t see any survivors, just one lady in the courtyard. Also, any place worth inhabiting in the apocalypse is usually under guard and I didn’t see anyone guarding this so called sanctuary. Since it does mean end of the line, I can’t imagine that this will play out well for any of the characters. My only hope is that everyone is reunited by the last episode and we see the whereabouts of Beth, who I believe is being held prisoner at terminus! As for Daryl I hope that once his “new” friends find Rick we will see the kick ass Daryl we all are accustomed to instead of this sad follower version of him that he has been on the last few episodes. I miss the other Daryl
🙁
Terminus seems ok, but in TWD universe nothing is what it seems .
Nothing about Terminus seems okay. The are greeted by a woman cooking slabs of meat on a bbq large enough to cook a full sized human.
Daryl will kill everybody he can in Joe’s group. once Joe’s and Rick meet.
No longer in guestion that Terminus is a cannibal colony. Realized the funeral home Daryl and Beth enjoyed their white trash brunch, was a trap. Kind of convenient that a car shows up to take Beth after they’ve just enjoyed that clean, organized stockpile of snacks. Fat and happy makes Mary’s good cooking.
And Beth was limping……exactly the kinds of people the Hunters target,
So is terminus supposed to be the community? Is Mary Nicholas wife? Is the group Daryl is with supposed to be the saviors and I think that was human meat Mary was cooking
Welcome to Terminus. Pull up a seat and grab yourself a Beth burger.
please, no Beth burgers ! Whether they are BFFs or a couple,I think Beth and Daryl should be together again, and back with the good guys group. I know the season finale will be a nail-biter no matter what happens.
Daryl seems to have more of an older brother relationship to Beth imo. Beth Burgers or not, something majorly gruesome is going to happen during the finale. Unless Father Gabriel and Gareth are different characters, it’s very likely that Gareth kidnapped Beth and is also the leader of Terminus. That’s my prediction at least.
I feel like there would be more than just one person to welcome them to Terminus, so that is the first thing that seems wrong with the place. It will probably be a place that they have to escape from by the end of the episode and not all of them will survive, or a place that will keep them trapped and will have to find away to escape. Either way it will be interesting to see how Abraham and Rick get along with both of them possibly seeking to be the leader of the group if/when they go to D.C.. I think that Rick will let Abraham take the lead on this one since he is claiming to following orders from what is left of the government. He see this and hopes that this will lead to some form of safe civilized place that he can take Carl to live in so he can try and give him a life that is somewhat normal again. Finding any kind of hope in the crap hole of a world, clinging on to it, and following it at all costs seems to be the driving force behind the action in the show. Which is done to great effect and drama.
Absolutely loved what happened in this episode. We finally got to see the reunion of Maggie and Glenn! Amazing scene it was! But in Walking Dead fashion its no secret that most people believe Terminus will not be the peaceful utopia the survivors hope it will be. I feel group may walking into a evil none of have seen before and their moment of reunion bliss, will remain just that, one mere moment. The burning of Maggie’s picture could foreshadow her death or Glenn’s death. What do you think?
My bet’s on Glenn. Has been for a little while.
actually, my bets on beth. though, i think its dumb to burn her only picture, as unphotogenic as she may have been. seriously, what if she dies? but i think that terminus are cannabalistic people. and beth was their first victim. DUN DUN DUHHH
Between Maggie and Glenn who’ll go first, I’m still thinking Maggie, in regards to the burnt picture. Maggie dies, Glenn is sad, and no longer has that picture because he allowed Maggie to burn it, thus only now having a memory of her whereas if it’s Glenn, there wasn’t a picture of him to begin with, so Maggie would only have a memory of him, obviously not needing a picture of herself.
Taste like chicken
I re watch this episode in the morning. I noticed something in the episode, Maggie is wearing Daryl Blanket at the end of the episode.

Why aren’t they suspicious about the Terminus ? I mean, with what they lived with the Governor, they should know something could be wrong. The name “Terminus” is not trustworthy at all.
And for tonights blue plate special, BBQ Beth 🙂
I know the Gov said his wife died, but what if she didnt? wha if Mary is his wife…well, now his widow..
Claimed!!!
So I looked up Terminus on wikipedia and found some interesting info:
Terminus, the original name of Atlanta, Georgia
Terminus (office complex), an office complex in Atlanta
Bus terminus, a bus station serving as an end destination
Terminal train station or terminus, a railway station serving as an end destination
I think thats cool.
Nothing is as it seems. This will be another WTF I cant wait till next season finally episode. Ughhh till next OCT everyone LOL
I just hope they don’t meet Lucille…
Chief Boyardee made some mystery meat on the menu boys! It’s not tainted meat or Rabbit meat…
Fried Green Tomatoes with that, sir?
I don’t mine you do sir.
Will Daryl be an inside or an outside cat?
I anticipate the savage. This episode is leading us into what I am expecting to be the best season finale to date. I do expect the emergence of the hunters, but I’m not sure if it will be Joe’s group or the people dwelling within Terminus. I also expect the grisly attempts at Carl to come forth.
Terminus is a mysterious chance for peace, or brutality, but I am sure the season finale will provide ‘A’ savage ending and a hell of a cliffhanger.
Mary, the female cook at Terminus, seemed almost “too calm”. The gates to terminus were not secured. The chains were just threaded but not locked. I think that Terminus is some kind of brainwashed society that worships the “walkers.” It’s like playing the Fallout games. There is always some kind of group or cult that thinks that the “zombies” or “walkers” were meant to happen and that we should try to be “one of them.”
The Terminus people are definitely some kind of brainwashed cannibal or cult group, but…worship the walkers? LOL. I mean, who knows with TWD. You could be right, but that is just way too funny! hahaha
I find it funny how unprotected terminus is. Maybe it will look more safe in the finale. Heck, I wouldnt be suprised if Mary whipped out a 50.cal sniper rifle and blasted a walkers head off.
Mary at terminus is wearing beths green sweater at the end of the episode. So yes i think Terminus is a cannibalistic village. They’ve got to throw the hunters arc somewhere in here. All the maps did was lead easy prey to the predator.
After looking up “Terminus on “Google”-It said that ancient tribes brought food (crops) to a gathering called Terminus. This was the old sacrifice way of idea to get God to bring a bountiful crop. – Since the car with the cross in the back window grabbed Beth – and the woman who greeted the new comers was pregnant, I would guess that a white religious cult was using Terminus as advertised to gather people for food and the white females as breed stock to rebuild the white race.
Did anyone else come across this? The paintings Michonne and Carl find during the episode “Claimed” foreshadow the whole second half of season 4. Seems pretty brilliant to me. I watch the episodes several times and still didn’t pick up on it. http://comicbook.com/blog/2014/03/24/the-walking-dead-were-these-paintings-about-mary-from-terminus/
Either amazing Easter eggs or a huge coincidence….
If Mary says you always have to have Greenes on your plate, then goodbye Beth! 🙂 Who needs a BBQ THAT big unless you’re at the Texas State Fair? Yeah, it’s not beef that’s for dinner there.
Yeah Terminus is bullshit.
I mean, theres no people there.
And that one chick is creepy to all hell.
Man that creepy lady told them that they looked tired and needed something to eat. I can only imagine what they are going to eat. I think Hannibal Lecter will be proud I’m afraid
Terminus might just be some sort of camp for experimentation, some wicked concentration camp maybe. Where are all the potentially hundreds of people? Why were the gates unsecured? No brain-slashed walkers lying about. We’ll see what’s in the food they eat & where they wake up. Mama said, if it sounds too good to be true, probably is.
Not convinced we are seeing the hunters until i see someone like this
http://img3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20140319200459/walkingdead/images/5/54/ChrisHunter13.jpg
Or like this?
As big of a fan as I am, I still depend on you guys to pick up on these small details!
Did Lizzie ever mention her grandma Mary? :o)
Anyone think that if Daryl’s new group came acrossed Beth he’d be all like, “claimed!”
No they would let us see her die for more affect
This is the start of them all meeting at terminus. My guess is that they are cannibals and that mary woman is cooking up Beth steaks.
Well badass all I can say
The meat.. It’s tainted! *crazed laughter*
A prediction that has nothing to do with cannibals: I think Rick’s brutality will come out just like it did in the comic before they hit Douglas’ Community – one of the guys from Daryl’s group will try to, ahem, have his way with Carl, and Rick will rip him apart with his bare hands. (not only did those guys mention raping whoever owned the “woman’s shirt” in the house, but Len, the bow-man arguing with Daryl in the woods, jumped at the chance to make a pedo- joke a little too quickly for my taste.) Rick will then question his humanity before they reach Terminus (this was foreshadowed in the Talking Dead clip when Carl asks how they will describe themselves to Terminus survivors). But yeah Terminus is probably populated by cannibals 😉
Yeah, Maggie’s back 🙂 Finally Daryl finds his calling of hunting small game with a bow and a crew of inbreds. Also, terminus seems to be an ending, not a beginning; it wouldn’t be my stop #justsayin
Did Nicotero do another homage to Romero (and revive one of his popular zombies, Bub, from Day of the Dead)? When Glenn first sees the group of walkers in the tunnel when he’s standing atop the pile, Bub is near the front of the group on the right wearing the leather collar with the metal ring and the denim jacket.
I was thinking the same thing when I saw that walker.
What an ending, “welcome to terminus”. what was on the barbecue? The meat was huge! They just happened to find a few cows? I don’t think so! If they’ve stuck reasonably close to the comics, they could show Beth waking up realizing she is missing a leg (just like Dale did). Could Beth have been bitten before she was taken if so, they can do the whole “I’m tainted meat” sequence just like Dale. And is she being fed to the Glen’s group when they arrive? This finale is gonna be HUUUGGGEEE!!!!
Terminus – End of the line. Peaceful entrance, not so peaceful exit.
Nothing is as good as it seems on Walking Dead. Terminus is exactly what it seems like and exactly what it means. The end of the line. If I am correct, Mary was wearing Beth’s sweater under her shawl, leading me to believe that her (or someone else from Terminus) took Beth in the hearse. Sadly, I believe that the dinner she was ready to serve up was a nice helping of BBQ Beth.
Why would Terminus plaster signs everywhere to possibly bring in massive amounts of people? Even with the gardens there, I highly doubt there would be enough food for all of the people such could bring in. They’re luring in victims. Drawing in the unsuspecting and hopeful people who are tired from their travels. Meals on wheels that deliver themselves!
Len didn’t plant the rabbit in Daryl’s bag. Joe did. He was getting tired of Len’s behavior and needed to get rid of him and he needed to win Daryl’s trust. Daryl’s not a cat. He’s a human and he needs to figure this out quickly.
Nice idea! Hadn’t thought of that! I still think Joe’s got more bad in him than good.
It’s a trap! Lure in the Starving with the tantalizing smell of Simmering Meat. Feed them, disarm them, kill them. Prep for the next meal, rinse and repeat. Just like calling the cows home at the end of the day.
I see Daryls group finding Beth, someone other than Daryl laying claim, a fight ensuing, then Joe hacks Beth in half …..
Popular sides at Terminus look to include Chianti and fava beans…
Next week is going to be one action packed episode (you need to have them discover what is going on, fight with the hunters, Rick and co arrive during that, showdown with Joe’s group when they arrive, episode ends with them all hitting the road headed for Washington…)
S4E15 ‘Us’ Review
I think this is amongst the worst written episodes for the
Season.
Now to be fair, it functions well as a funneling episode for
reuniting the characters, however there were a lot of missed opportunities dialog
wise that really would have brought better characterization and stronger
emotional bonds between the characters. They needed better take choices than
those that were used.
The main groups appear to be arriving at Terminus in the following
order:
Group 4: Glenn, Maggie, Sasha, Bob, Tara, Abraham, Eugene and Rosita (at Terminus)
Group 1: Michonne, Rick and Carl (drops candy wrapper on
tracks)
Group 3: Daryl, Joe (and 4 other marauders)(walk on candy
wrapper on tracks)
Group 2: Carol, Tyreese, Judith (still have not found Maggie
signs on tracks)
Group 5: Beth (could be a Terminus already or most likely in
trouble somewhere else.)
Good:
Our band of marauders seem to function morally based on calling (or claiming)
property as they come upon it and not lying. It’s kind of childish;
however it does give us the mentality of this group. Daryl needs to tread
lightly, especially around Joe. Jeff Kober did a great job (in spite of
the material he was given). BTW: I think Joe had Len killed
because he really wants Daryl to stay with them also I think he took the
cigarettes from Len and would have been caught in a lie and gotten beaten up for
doing so. (SEE the Unknown regarding this.)
The choked out Marauder did see Rick at the safe haven and ironically Daryl
doesn’t know that is who Joe’s group is tracking (nice thread use.)
The special effects in the tunnel were cool. I didn’t have a problem with
Glenn going into the tunnel knowing there were walkers in there because if
Maggie didn’t go in there she would have written that on the wall. Therefore,
it made sense why Glenn would want to go in the tunnel just like Maggie
went through the walker bus. He wanted to make sure she wasn’t one of the
walkers. Tara pointing out the blood of the walkers was fresh, so the cave in was fairly recent and it turned out Maggie caused the cave in. What she used to set off the cave in is unclear. It was good suspense. (However, I did have a problem with the
cave in (SEE BAD.)
Eugene’s awkward moment with Tara was great! All of his dialogue to get to that part wasn’t. He’s so socially inadequate it’s actually quite interesting. After the loss of Milton it is good to see Nerds back in the show. He does have a conscience
though. He wanted to see Glenn get through the tunnel.
I was expecting a little taste of Terminus which they adequately provided. Denise Crosby is now in the cast as Mary of Terminus. Star Trek the Next Generation fans may remember her role as Tasha Yar. It should be interesting to see what she brings.
I actually love how Abraham feels he’s leading everyone but then just goes
along with everyone still acting like he’s leading everyone “We will go to
Terminus and then go onto Washington DC.”
Bad:
Faulty plot points; open ends with no season end teases and
poor characterization.
Maggie caused the cave in with a gun blast after being surrounded by walkers, which has even less plausibility than using explosives. This means she shot in back
of herself causing debris to fall on the walkers behind them (Maggie, Sasha and
Bob) and they somehow managed to get through the walkers in front of them
without killing them. A concrete lined tunnel that has held up some of the innards of a mountain for many years is brought down by a single gunshot and didn’t trap or kill them? I would say that’s a bit of plot hole. I had a huge problem with that.
If part of a tunnel can be brought down with a single gunshot does it make sense to be in that tunnel trying to make a cave in to kill walkers?
No, that’s kind of stupid. What if it caves in on all of them? I think the scene was written around the cool tunnel prop and to make that work the story suffers. They could have just had the collapse already there and since it’s far into the tunnel it would make sense Maggie wouldn’t go back and change the sign. They should have just cut Maggie’s lines about the cave in and have her ask questions about Beth!
Maggie/Glenn reunion didn’t have the emotional impact it should have had based on the actions in the previous Season four episodes by both Maggie and Glenn. Maggie’s reaction to finding him was what saved the scene. Glenn appeared to be shell shocked even after he was in private moments with Maggie. Glenn went to a lot of trouble to find her, however when he does there isn’t the emotional release I was expecting. I put that on acting, choice of reaction shot on the direction and the writing (in other words practically everything.)
Not a single question from Maggie to Glenn about Beth??? Shouldn’t Maggie also be asking why Glenn wasn’t on the bus? Where he went after he left the bus? Had he seen Beth? Those conversations should have been in a shot.
I noticed only one railroad switching point along the track Maggie and Glenn’s groups were both on heading towards Terminus. Surely if Terminus is a centralized railway yard where trains terminate, shouldn’t there be tons of tracks merging together from different directions? Our groups would have at the very least met up with more walkers merging into their rail line or their rail line would have merged into a main line where they met walkers or survivors.
Where are all the people at Terminus? There has to be more people. If it ends
up there are more people, why isn’t anyone on guard duty at the gates? There were walkers in the tunnel, where are all the walkers that should be surrounding Terminus? They could have shown people bustling around in back of Mary.
Unknown:
Len accused Daryl of taking his cigarettes.
What Len seemed to forget is that 3 out of the 7 of themsmoke. (Joe smokes too.) I think Joe took Len’s cigarettes. I wonder if Daryl picked up on that? Another lost opportunity for writers to show Daryl testing Joe’s trust. Daryl could have mentioned that to Joe and just ask if he took the cigarettes (after they left Len’s body back at the garage.)
Joe was questioning Daryl asking him when he was going to leave the group.
This suggests in one way that they will let Daryl leave without trying to kill him.
If this is the case why doesn’t Daryl leave them and try to find Beth?
If Daryl thinks he will end up like Len, then I can see why he is reluctant
to leave the group (they could kill him too). Perhaps he figures safety in numbers since they appear to be heading for Terminus then that’s the way he should head because they will find the others.
“I don’t give a monkey’s left nut” I would have far preferred a gorrilla’s right testicle.
Terminus = Motel Hell
Hostel?
Beth I hear you calling, but I cant come home right now
Here’s what i heard, “Mary, Mary, why ya buggin’?”
OMG, this was playing in my head when I was thinking about the Caption Contest!
Too funny. I think Beth got grabbed by Negan. And, here comes Lucille…
KISS sooo cool
Tender Eatin’ Roasted Meat Individuals Nice Until Salivating.
SOYLENT GREEN is PEOPLE!!!!!!!
so i was being the spoiler fanatic that i am, and i found a new zealand trailer that showed rick at terminus!
Check it out:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DNWdXzWH-a4
I think that Mary and Lizzie are related! And since Lizzie was killed, they are showing what she would have become in the future…
The group saw a nice lady, the nice lady saw people chops!!!
I think daryl will end up killing his group to save rick and Carl. Eugene will be the person that caused the breakout that is why he knows how to stop it. Right a the last second of the finale Eugene will be killed taking the cause and the cure of the breakout with him to his grave, leaving no chance of a cure to be found.
That’s my little bit added. Lol
I trust that Terminus is a Termination of some of ‘Us’
The main groups appear to be arriving at Terminus in the following

Joe was questioning Daryl asking him when he was going to leave the group.
This suggests in one way that they
will let Daryl leave without trying to kill him.
If this is the case why doesn’t
Daryl leave them and try to find Beth?
One of the cannibal members of Terminus could be running the Mortuary trap and they have Walker loved ones being “preserved” in Terminus but all reconstructed with make-up to make them appear “normal”. They trap survivors in all the unbelievably spic n’ span places the survivors run into and terminate them by feeding on them and feeding the remains to the Walkers. The “Claim” Hunter group might actually be hunting more survivors to trick into coming with them to Terminus as they are also part of that cannibal community. I sincerely hope Beth is not going to be on the plates being served by freaky Mary. But then again Norman Reedus did tweet a few eps back that “he ate Beth”. Oh no :'( Just when I was beginning to like Beth. Please don’t kill off Tara. She IS seriously hot!
I believe Mary is the girl in the painting from episode 11 that Michonne and Carl found! Mary is a cannibal, camp terminus is a cannibal camp. Mary went crazy once her family died (the dead people in the bed from episode 11 that michone discovered) Mary was barbecuing someone from the group, and she was wearing their jacket. So someone is dead and I’m trying to find out who’s jacket she’s wearing! Rick discovers the body this season finale! Who’s ever jacket Mary was wearing last episode is the person who’s dead from the group!
Found out who dies!
Obviously Terminus is a trap. There was no people there. If all those people saw those signs the place would be filled to the brim with people. Also, that one chick has the same creepy vibe as the John’s brothers from the telltale games series. Even to the point of food being the only thing she seems mention. Just like the at the dairy. Where “Dinner” Was all the hype for them. (Or I’m just making a wild analogy based on the fact of what terminus might be) Plus the storyline matching up to the time with the…
*spoiler alert*
Hunters, so Terminus is just them…
Or a parallel universe where the moon falls in three days.
Carl will eat Rick when he realizes the pudding didn’t quite hit the spot
Then he’ll eat Michonne after he takes the Crazy Cheese from her.
S4E15 ‘Us’
I think this is amongst the worst written episodes for the Season.
To be fair, it functions well as a funneling episode for reuniting the
characters, however there were a lot of missed opportunities dialog wise that
really would have brought better characterization and stronger emotional bonds
between the characters. They needed better take choices than those that were
used. I also think Episode 11 should have been named ‘Us’ and Episode 15
‘Claimed’.
Good:
• The band of marauders seem to function morally based on calling (or claiming)
property as they come upon it and not lying. It’s kind of childish; however it
does give us the mentality of this group. Daryl needs to tread lightly,
especially around Joe. Jeff Kober did a great job (in spite of the material he
was given).
• The choked out Marauder did see Rick at the safe haven and
ironically Daryl doesn’t know that is who Joe’s group is tracking (nice thread
use.)
• I didn’t have a problem with Glenn going into the tunnel knowing there were walkers in there because if Maggie didn’t go in there she would have written that on the wall. Therefore, it made sense why Glenn would want to go in the tunnel just like Maggie went through the walker bus. He wanted to make sure she wasn’t one of the walkers. Tara pointing out the blood of the walkers was fresh, so the cave in was fairly
recent and it turned out Maggie caused the cave in. What she used to set off
the cave in is unclear. It was good suspense. (However, I did have a problem
with the cave in (See Bad comments.)
• Eugene’s awkward moment with Tara was great! The five minutes of his
dialogue to get to that part wasn’t. He’s so socially inadequate it’s actually
quite interesting. After the loss of Milton it is good to see Nerds back in the show. He does have a conscience though. He wanted to see Glenn get through the tunnel.
• I was expecting a little taste of Terminus which they adequately provided.
Denise Crosby is now in the cast as Mary of Terminus. Star Trek the Next
Generation fans may remember her role as Tasha Yar. It should be interesting to
see what she brings.
• I actually love how Abraham feels he’s leading everyone but then just goes
along with everyone still acting like he’s leading everyone “We will go to
Terminus and then go onto Washington
DC.”
Bad:
Faulty plot points; open ends with no season end teases and poor
characterization.
• I believe Maggie said she caused the cave in with a gunshot after being
surrounded by walkers. This means she shot in back of herself causing debris to
fall on the walkers behind them and they somehow managed to get through the
walkers in front of them. They did so without killing them all or having the
walkers follow them out of the tunnel. Instead the walkers opted to hover around the rubble in the tunnel. Really?
A concrete lined tunnel that has held up some of the innards of a mountain for
many years is brought down by a single gunshot and didn’t trap or kill them?
I would say that’s a bit of plot hole. I had a huge problem with that.
If part of a tunnel can be brought down with a single gunshot does it make
sense to be in that tunnel trying to make a cave in to kill walkers?
No, that’s kind of stupid. What if it caves in on all of them?
I think the scene was written around the tunnel prop and to make that work the
story suffers. They could have just had the collapse already there and since
it’s far into the tunnel it would make sense Maggie wouldn’t go back and change
the sign.
• Maggie/Glenn reunion didn’t have the emotional impact it should have had
based on the actions in the previous Season four episodes by both Maggie and
Glenn. Maggie’s reaction to finding him was what saved the scene. Glenn
appeared to be shell shocked even after he was in private moments with Maggie.
Glenn went to a lot of trouble to find her, however when he does there isn’t
the emotional release I was expecting. I put that on acting, choice of reaction
shot on the direction and the writing (in other words practically everything.)
• Not a single question from Maggie to Glenn about Beth??? Shouldn’t Maggie
also be asking why Glenn wasn’t on the bus? Where he went after he left the
bus? Had he seen Beth? Those conversations should have been in a shot.
• I noticed only one railroad switching point along the track Maggie and
Glenn’s groups were both on heading towards Terminus. Surely if Terminus is a
centralized railway yard where trains terminate, shouldn’t there be tons of
tracks merging together from different directions? Our groups would have at the
very least met up with more walkers merging into their rail line or their rail
line would have merged into a main line where they met walkers or survivors.
• Where are all the people at Terminus? There has to be more people. If it ends
up there are more people, why isn’t anyone on guard duty at the gates? There
were walkers in the tunnel, where are all the walkers that should be
surrounding Terminus?
To make the Tunnel scene work better having a shot of walkers going into the tunnel from the other side and also take out the dialog about the cave in being fresh from earlier that day. Instead make the cave in preexisting to either group. If the cave in is a long way into the tunnel than you can have walkers for them to eliminate on the way. This will add to the existing suspense and not give away whether Maggie is dead or alive to Glenn. The walkers entering the cave on the other side helps explain why there was a horde of walkers after the cave in after Maggie’s group left. They could also add dead zombies after the cave in to help corroborate Maggie had gotten through there or at least someone else had gotten through.
I aint Claiming nothing!
Some speculation: Does Michonne know Tara was part of the Governor’s group? If that is the case then Maggie will find out that Tara was with the Governor. That may cause friction between Maggie and Glenn because he fibbed about how he met her.
terminus is the last step before hell. no one survives .
Terminus is a big fucking trap. When Glenn, Abraham et al roll up there I made a few observations about some red flags. Red Flag #1: all the signs and maps along the train tracks. Any psycho, hoodlum or dreg of humanity could roll up to Terminus who see the signs on the road. Who the hell advertises their sanctuary?! Or has time to do so by posting up a bunch of signs for miles and miles?! Rick didn’t have any signs up on the road saying “Come join us in the prison- here’s directions to it”. Red Flag #2: there is no guard tower/no one stationed on the top of the main building to see what random people could be wandering in. Red Flag #3: The first fence is NOT locked, nor is there is a fence all the way around the first entrance, like by the train tracks that border it. Red Flag #4: The second gate that Glenn pushes open is not locked EITHER, and they just come right in. Who the hell does that in a supposed “safe zone”?! The place is too fishy, and just obviously so. Shouldn’t everyone’s guard be up upon entering the place given all they’ve been through (meaning Sasha, Glenn, Abraham et al)?! Terminus is just too good to be true. It’s like a scene out of a bad horror movie from the 80’s where a group of people wander naively into a bad situation that all of us see coming. And then all of their asses get trapped and they have to fight their way out after saying to each other “Oops- we never should have come here!” That lady Mary at Terminus is probably a Hunter and was cooking up a human leg when she greeted everyone.
Based on Epoch.com website – their prediction about Beth is she was kidnapped by a Pastor/Priest Gabriel (on comics) after she escape and running out came from the funeral homes and take her to the church … As you have notice there is a cross at the back of a car ….
The other prediction is , she was kidnapped by the hunters and take her to the terminus
Actually, Mary says “let me make you a plate”. Is she going to make THEM into a plate?
Terminus is the clean trap extension of the Beth/Darryl house. No walkers in sight, everything in a row and set up like a Disneyland set. There is a massa walkers hidden here somewhere. There is also probably a human meat locker for the ones they fatten up at the house, trick outside with the dog and then slaughter in a way that stops them from turning. None of the bodies at the funeral home had head wounds.?
Terminus prediction: Glenn’s group comes in, cleans up, gets ready to have some ( where have all the cows been hiding? ) chow and then one of them stumbles on the “secret”. Eugene is starting to man up. I like him . He is super quirky. He will die before Washington and the reason for the walkers will die with him. Darryl will kill a nice chunk of those hunters, but not all of them. It’s a tough one , but my prediction for deaths in the last episode originally were Michonne or Glenn, but I think they are just leading us to think that and have something else in store. I say Beth ( in front of Maggie) and Sasha. I WANT That #1!!!!
One small thing keeps bothering me. At the end, Joe started yet another car for them all to go off in. It’s been a couple of years and there are alot of knowledgeable manly men and savvy women among the survivors so don’t they know that gasoline degrades and goes bad eventually? Not to mention the dead car batteries, but at least they’ve covered that in the series. When are they going to have to give up on cars completely for transportation? I’m probably being overly sensitive to the issue, but everything else seems so spot on. Are they continuing to use vehicles in the comics still? Sorry if it’s a silly question!
Certainly not a silly question! You can get about 2 years’ use on today’s gas. If it comes from a larger storage, like a gas pump instead of other vehicles, it could last longer. There are also things that you can add to gas to stabilize it and/or “reconstitute” it. It may seem like a substantial amount of time has passed in the show, but I put it at around 2 years at the most, so this will probably be an issue in the near future.
As for the comic, I see larger vehicles being used, some being military type that probably use diesel, which has a longer life.
Thanks! I guess if it goes on long enough, things will only get worse rather than better if they lose their best mode of transportation. Big step backwards. I hope there are a lot of horses in Georgia! :o)
