Here we are, 10 episodes into season 3 and things are heating up again. Feedback on last week’s episode was mostly positive, some people felt it was a little slow though. Fair enough—it was kind of building block episode, the board had to be shaken up and pieces put in place for the second half of the season. I think this week’s episode really pays off after last week’s episode, but let’s do a run through of the action.
Last week: Daryl and Merle headed off into the woods on their own, Andrea was starting to take the lead in Woodbury, Glenn and Maggie were left physically and emotionally beaten, Michonne was left to heal in a prison cell, Tyreese and his group were kicked out, and Rick was losing his marbles.
We start at the prison. Rick’s shoring up the defenses and picks up his binoculars. He looks at Michonne getting out of the abandoned bus (where she appears to have set up camp) and scans the yard, where he once again sees Lori, this time standing by her grave. He rushes down but she vanishes. He then sees her outside the fences and heads out there. As he stands with her and touches her face, Michonne watches from a distance, looking concerned.
After the credits we check in on Andrea and the Governor. He’s remorseful. He admits to messing up and promises no retribution against the prisoners. And then he asks Andrea to lead Woodbury while he takes some time to rethink. It’s basically everything Andrea wants to hear. He leaves her to think about it.
In the backwoods, Merle takes a leak (classy) while Daryl tries to reason with him. Daryl wants to go back the prison, Merle says that by now everyone at the prison will be killed. Daryl looks none too pleased at the thought.
At the prison, Glenn’s going over a map of the grounds, figuring out where Tyreese came in and planning out how to clear and fortify that area. Glenn’s playing leader. He wants to go back to Woodbury and assassinate the Governor but the group is reticent. Hershel reminds them how well storming Woodbury went last time and wants to leave the prison behind before the Governor shows. Glenn acquiesces to not attacking the Governor but refuses to leave the prison. He and Carl (Carl!) plan to go into “the tombs” to clear out any walkers that followed Tyreese’s group in.
Back at Woodbury, the Governor speaks with Milton, questions his loyalty, and when satisfied he tasks Milton with watching Andrea. Cut to Andrea looking for Martinez and the Governor. No one on the wall will say where he is or confess any knowledge of his whereabouts. Luckily, Milton comes strolling by and Andrea asks him where the Governor is. Milton says he doesn’t know but is an awful liar. Andrea storms off, frustrated.
In the meantime, Glenn and Carl have been trying to clean out the tombs but there are too many walkers. Glenn goes to talk to Maggie, who’s been hiding out in her bunk. She finally tells Glenn what happened to her with the Governor. Glenn asks if she was raped. She says no, she was humiliated and worried and scared but not raped. She’s mad that Glenn was worried that she was raped and won’t let Glenn even comfort her.
Axel and Carol continue Rick’s fortifications while Axel tells Carol how he got arrested for carrying a toy gun and admits to not even knowing how to use the gun he’s got. Axel, you’re in the middle of a zombie apocalypse, maybe you should have told someone that you don’t know how to use a piece a little bit earlier?
While Axel flirts with Carol, the Dixon brothers come across a family trapped on a bridge. Merle thinks it’s funny because, well, he’s Merle, while Daryl runs to help, because Daryl is a badass.
A walker slaughter fest ensues, but the award for kill of the decade goes to Daryl for pulling a walker partway out of the back of a hatchback and then slamming the door on it’s head. I watched it five times.
Merle eventually decides to help, and then immediately turns jerk again when he actively starts looting the car of the people they just saved. This prompts Daryl to pull his crossbow on his brother, a crucial decision for Daryl. Merle begs off and the family heads on their way (driving over the head of a downed walker as they back up—SQUISH).
An important scene follows but the crux of it is this: when the Dixons were young, their father was abusive toward Merle, who left as soon as he could, not realizing (or perhaps just in denial) that their father’s abuse would be transferred to young Daryl. When Merle accidentally rips Daryl’s shirt we see a crosshatch of scars all over his back. Merle is taken aback and expresses remorse, or at least as much as he can. Daryl and Merle are squared. Daryl has come to terms with Merle and decides to head back to the prison, leaving it to Merle to come or not. Merle says he can’t after what he’s done to Michonne and Glenn. Daryl says “I may be the one walkin’ away, but you’re the one that’s leavin’… again.”
An aside on Daryl’s evolution: When we first met Daryl he called Glenn a Chinaman, Glenn corrected him, saying that he’s Korean, to which Daryl replies, “whatever.” Tonight we have Merle calling Glenn Chinese and Daryl correcting him, “he’s Korean.” Merle: “whatever!” I love it. Daryl at his most lovable tonight, ladies. It’s also worth noting that both Norman Reedus and Michael Rooker are great in this scene.
Back to the prison we go, where a pissed and hurt Glenn gets in the truck, after promising Hershel that he’s not going back to Woodbury. He tells Hershel he just needs to get out. After Glenn drives off, Hershel notices Rick just wandering around the grass outside the grounds. Moseying, as it were.
Hershel calls Rick over to the fence to warn him about Glenn’s behavior, and stress to Rick how important it is that he come back. Rick dances around the reason he’s outside the fence, but eventually confesses to Hershel that he’s seen Lori, and Shane too. Rick says he can’t come back yet.
Axel and Carol watch from a distance. Axel says he did better in prison, and is just about to launch into a funny anecdote about his brother when—BOOM—headshot! The Governor has come to teach Rick’s group a lesson and dispense some payback. A protracted gun battle ensues between Rick’s entire group (minus Glenn) and The Governor and couple of his men, who are spread around the prison.
In the midst of the gunfight, a mysterious, masked stranger crashes through the gates and releases a horde of zombies into the prison yard, while the Governor watches with a smile on his face.
With havoc unleashed, the Governor and his men retreat.
Out of bullets, Rick is surrounded by walkers, grappling with two of them and just barely able to keep them at bay. Rick is just about finished when a crossbow bolt kills one of the walkers on him. Merle kills the other with a length of rebar through the head. With the walkers around them dispatched, Rick looks at Daryl, who gives him a little nod.
Michonne slices her way across the yard to help Hershel, cutting heads off left and right, and joins a recently returned Glenn. They get in Glenn’s truck and get back to the inner gates of the prison.
The group, now separated by a yard full of walkers, look on in dismay. The last shot is Rick, looking at what the Governor has done, grim and resolved.
So what did you guys think of the episode? I loved it. I thought it was really well paced, great action, brutal zombie violence, and Norman Reedus, Michael Rooker, and Andrew Lincoln all killed it (figuratively and literally). Some really interesting character growth for both Dixon brothers, and the Governor escalated the conflict even more.
Food for Thought:
Who is the masked figure that dropped the zombies off in the yard?
Did you love Daryl’s arc this episode as much as I did?
Will this snap Rick out of his crazy (looking at that last shot, I don’t know)?
Where the hell are Tyreese and company?
What do you guys make of Andrea at this point?
Wow that was Crazy…when that van showed up I didn’t know what to think
I was hoping it was Andrea in the :/
If the Govener die will Andrea try to come back and will the group accept her?
She is going back to the prison anyway. I think she will be the one to kill the Governor!
ligit answer. i hope that is what happens. she needs to redeem herself or the group should reject her.
Agreed. I freakin HATE tv Andrea. BUT if she’s the one to use her position to sabotage the Governor & take him down then I might accept her back into the fold. And I think Team Prison needs to see that too. Bc as it stands now, they see her as a traitor & a threat.
Daryl Dixon zombie kill of the week
Of the decade. SPLAT!
My favorite is when he shot the arrow, saving rick
How come the governor has a injury to his right eye in the show but the commercial has a left eye injury. OOPS! Guess AMC does not have “a good eye” for detail. 🙂
I think some video must have gotten flipped for whatever reason. It’s actually really impressive that people have been noticing.
He was looking in a mirror, duh
DJ
Doesn’t matter that he was looking into a mirror. Still his left eye that is clearly missing!!!!! duh .A 2nd grader could figure that out.
I noticed that too. 90% sure that in that clip he’s looking at himself in the mirror. Notice it is the only time he doesn’t have a patch on and he’s holding up a match as a light to look. It was really hard to tell in the commercial, but I’m pretty sure that was it.
I saw that too… What the f$%%^k
He is looking in a mirror.
I bet Rick was upset he let tyrese go
This whole thing with Rick’s hallucination is the stupidest thing you
could have come up with. Keep up the inane BS and I’ll find some other
program to watch.
How did the shooter get in the tower??!!!??
That was a question that crossed my mind.
was wondering the same thing
does any else think daryl got even more awesome
I think everyone thinks that. Or I hope so.
Carl isn’t too concerned about his father.
Hell yeah Meryl trying to redem himself. Michael Rooker is such a good actor
yeah he is but i still dont trust merle
i still cant believe rick, a cop, is such a bad shot
There was a lot of GI Joe shooting tonight.
haha yeah totally but i have one question that is driving me crazy
I think this is just one more instance of Andrea being the most self-centered biatch on the planet. My God, it’s like she’s just a pinball with attitude. First she’s all pissy about not getting to off herself – but seriously, it seems like as long as she gets laid, her affections blow with the wind. She’ll show up at the prison, but she is going to have to do some serious mea culpa to get back in…..
Do ya’ll think they will allow Meryl to stay with them at the prison even though him and he’s brother saved Rick A**
no because did you see the way he was laughing at rick
yes! But then again they need all the people they can get with the governor doing all he’s doing to get rid of them.. I think he will but it will be a lot of drama following that decision
yes but something tells me merle will try to take rick’s hand
alright now who in the hell was the was the person who bursted out of the van of walkers wearing body armor?
I think it was his little puppet scientist (forgot he’s name)
well he seemed to be going insane when andrea was talking to him though and if you look really closely in the pic above you will see long blond hair behind the helmet
The show tonight was insane!!!
yeah it was by far the most intense
I hope Andrea figures out what the governor did, takes care of him herself, then unites the town with everyone at the prison..
that would be absolutely amazing
No offense, but ‘figures out what the governor did’???? Just like always, she is being quite purposefully blind to the obvious – like she really believes the people who saved her life over and over and who treated her like family were *attacking* the town for no good reason? If they write her as the ‘heroine’, I might get a bit pukey…..that would be just too sickly sweet.
I hated axel got shot
yeah ikr “This one time, my brot….” BANG! NOOOOO
I was unsuspected when Axel got shot
yeah ik
Rick is Gary Busy crazy
haha your watching talking dead
🙂 well played sir
haha im just watching to see the sneak peak for next weeks episode
What in the hell made Glenn come back so soon? Did the governor and him pass each other going down the road or what?? Perfect timing though I for sure thought Hershel was a goner
The “masked figure” was Andrea… (i think) because that person was a bit too small to be a man. How ever, it could also not be her because there is a chance she did not know about the attack. So only time will tell.
well i think it is andrea too because 1. after milton said he went for a run with martinez, andrea was not shown after that. 2, the masked figure only shot at michonne and 3. look at the pic above of the masked figure really closely and look above their shoulder and you will see long blond hair plus if you watch the way andrea shoots then it looks the same as the way that person was shooting.
It is not long blonde hair, that’s a scarf.
As much as I DON’T like Andrea I do not think it was her! She’s to concerned about her “friends” at the prison to do that.. Plus in the sneak peek of next week episode it shows her yelling with the governor to go there and shows her going through the wood.. I’m assuming she was going to the prison
I bet it was the governors little scientist buddy driving the van
that person in the van was way to small to be him
well if you look @ him he is a small guy.. PLUS do you remember Milton && Governor convo about him “taking a bullet” Andrea wasn’t the only thing he had in mind
I just thought it was him because the gov asked if he would take a bullet for him and he acted like he was trying to get some where very fast and kept looking at his watch when Andrea chased him down
I agree with you 100%
yeah i am 85% positive the person in the van is andrea
How would she been able to get all those Walkers in the van && get past the guards to get outta that little town.. It had to be Milton or someone else
dont forget that most of the gaurds left to raid the prison and that the van driver fled in the midst of all this.
Impossible, because in the preview for next episode, Andrea is walking into the prison while holding a walker for protection.
it was not him, the person was way too small to be a guy.
yes i agree
I’m thinking that might be right – him or the one of the two schemers from Tyreese’s group – Ben or Allen maybe……
Naw, he has a bigger build than that person. Maybe it’s someone from Tyrese’s group?
oh i didnt even think about that
Has anyone stopped to think maybe the driver was Lilly?
it was sad cool and scary at the same time
Andrea! you need to start acting like the comic book Andrea….. right now!
YES PLEASE!!!
If tonight’s episode taught us anything it’s that group is in desperate need of a sharp shooter. Amiright?
That’s a window for Andrea
you couldnt be more right
AMEN!!!!!
Isn’t it incredible how different some of the characters are?! Lori, Andrea..loved them in the comics, HATE them on the show, lol
Andrea was one of my fav in the comic…so disappointing to see her like this.
I’m not sure if I can get on board with her character if the writers try to steer her onto the path of Andrea the badass from the comics. As far as I’m concerned that is not Andrea. That is stereotypical dependent, female figure on television.
Very very very good episode tonight
Tallahassee would have been proud of Daryl’s zombie kill of the week.
They should really get that actor to have a cameo, or maybe even a larger role… perhaps Abraham from the comics. I would love to see that
It would have been epic if merl asked Rick if he needed a hand when the zombies attacked him
Andrea has self-esteem issues, I think. Always needs a guy to cling to – and a really mentally disturbed one, apparently.
The Dixon brothers have feelings! Whowuddathunk!
I had a few Daryl fan-girl moments. There were walkers in that scene with his arms??
I think Andrew Lincoln was born to be Rick Grimes. He legit walked off the pages and into the show, I swear..has amazed me since the first episode.
OMG! Look close at the mystery person who let out the Walkers! They are wearing the same Kevlar vest Glenn was wearing when he left!!!
Well, kind of . . Now that I look closer at the previous picture.
Glen pulled in at the end obviously it wasn’t him.. -_-
hey guess what guys i just figured out who it is…but im not telling
I dont think it was andrea I think it was glen. Where was glen in all of this? Why didn’t the govenor shoot at glen while he rode by glen was wearing armor when he left. I hope it wasn’t glen.
Did anybody kill that masked person or did he/she get away?
Someone please tell me when they are going to kill off that Son of a Bitch Governor. He needs to die..
probably some time in the middle of the 4th season… depends on what direction they go in… trust me, the gov. will get MUCH worse.. I hope atleast.
Look I love TWD best show on, but they need to move along with this story line. Great story YEAHH GOVERNOR woohooo. I recently saw an interview with Glen Mazarra that said they will drag this into season 4?? Now I hope that is the difference in views that got him canned and I’m really ready for the TV show to move on from the prison. After the prison is when the comic got really good. I don’t know about all of you, but I’m ready to see The Hilltop and Negan and the Saviors.
I love Negan! BUT, the TV version of him will be SO watered down, I don’t even think I want to see it :
It’s kind of crazy they could drag this into Season 4..but it’s always hard to say where they’re going to take storyline in comparison to the comics
and now talking about Season 4 is making me sad about the Season 3 finale being in a few weeks, lol
Yeah Ig I didn’t think of how watered down he’d have to be for AMC to bad HBO didn’t pick up the series lol.
Okay, did not anyone else notice that Daryl’s tattoo started out on his right shoulder; and then as he walked away it was on his left shoulder? My husband and I saw it immediately!!! What a huge mistake to make during filming…
YEAH!! I thought they’d mention it on the Talking Dead!
I really thought someone would ask about it earlier. It was a huge BOO/BOO to show the applied tattoo on the wrong side of his back!!! And I don’t want anyone to give the explanation that he was looking in the mirror!!! They were in the woods…
He has the same tattoo on each shoulder
Excuse me… check the above picture. It clearly shows that the tattoos are on his right shoulder. Then later in the episode they are shown on the other side. Watch it over if you need to do so, but that is how it played.
Governor’s right eye is covered in this episode and next week’s it’s his left eye that is out.. Am I seeing things or what ??
He is looking in a mirror-__- in the shot you are talking about
He is looking in mirror.
and p.s. when the hell is Rich going to lose his hand lol? Ik Robert Kirkman regretted doing it, but come on that’s key to the story.
Rick damn auto correct
Robert has already said that he does regret it but in one of the Q&A’s in the single issues, someone asked that same question & he said if he could go back & change it in the comic, he wouldn’t. BUT he will never do it again, on the show. So sorry but Rick is keeping both hands! There’s always hope for Carl’s eye tho!! Kirkman hasn’t said squat about that!!!
The person driving the van that dropped off a load of zombies was definitely a woman. Too small of build to be a man, for sure. And no way was it Andrea. She finally is figuring out that the governor is not the man she had hoped him to be. But, she would never betray her former group and do such a thing. It was a character formerly not presented on the show; I believe. After all, they just killed off a character… time for a new one! Wait and see…
Unless she correctly assumed that they would have an easier time fighting zombies than the Governor and that the Governor would assume the zombies would be enough to finish them off.
Andrea no way would betray the group at the prison like that. She has been a little self-involved for a while; but she has finally figured out what is really going on with the governor. She will be back to the prison next week to rejoin the group. You just wait and see if she isn’t… I am sure she would not turn on her original group. She is doing some growing up herself… And it is about time for her to come into her own! She might just be the person to save Merle’s ugly ass from Glenn!!!
i was just looking over the last episode and i paused it when i saw a close up on the older guys face and then i paused it when i saw the masked persons face and i saw a HUGE resemblance. Plus it couldnt have been a one person job because the gate opened and then he/she emerged from the passenger side.
the govenors eye patch is right side in the last view its his left eye whats up?
At the end of the episode when they showed next episode and the governors bad eye it on the wrong side it’s his right eye in the show and they show his left all scared up.
the govs eye patch is his right eye the last view for next week shows his left
I bet thr governor wad looking in a mirror in the commerci an yeah how can Andrea survive this long and be so stupid
But if he was looking in a mirror it would still be his right eye.
what up with governor having an eye patch covering his right eye when he got stabed in his left eye at the end of last season????
the show has lost alot of its appeal that it had during the first two season episodes
or did the costume dept mgr forget what eye to cover up this season or what, LOOKS LIKE HE/SHE NEEDS TO GO BACK TO MAKEUP SCHOOL
how do u become one of the zombies on the show?
Die. 🙂
Loved it! The van tripped me out I thought for sure it was Tyrese and the gang coming back! I thought it was quite the entrance…then the zombies “pooped” out! Great episode leaves me wanting more! Andrea and the Govenor should just drink the koolaid!
Merle, Daryl, Carl, Rick, Michonne, Glen, Rick, Tyreese (possibly), & Andrea (possibly) = LETHAL ARMY!!!!
Don’t forget Maggie. She came out of the prison right away when it was being raided. It really demonstrated her courage.
I really wanted to hear the end of Axel’s story…But now I never will :'(
that too funny lol
andrea is smart and sometimes acts like she doesn’t know which way to turn, but she is a bad ass and also shows her humiane side which what makes this show awesome and her part of ricks group. She had no choice ,but to adapt and survive to her enviroment with the crazy ass governor and she saw good in him until his dead daughter was killed and then went off the deap end to the point of no return. Rick isn’t crazy,he is having a breakdown and he is aware of it,but can not control it because of the stress he is under. Being a good leader isn’t an easy job especially if its in the Zombie World. What the hell, all of everything he and his group new as normal is gone and he is trying so hard to hold on,he lost his best friend who ended up fucking his wife and she ended up pregnant with him not knowing if the baby is his, then he lost his wife, then he has to make strong decisions for people who rely on him. He has changed Daryl from an angry kid to a hot, strong, loveable man and i believe his brother can come over to thier side because he loves his brother, its just going to be harder because he is older and has had more troubles, but rick and the old man on the crutch have really held this group together. Glen is so smart and loving ,but he is going to strong and showing that he needs rick to get his shit together. Glens girlfriend loves him,but i think she is also exsperiencing withdrawl from the real leader. Rick makes the important people even more important by being the role model so what ever ricks breakdown is, he will over come it ,but it shows he is just as human and capable of feelings like all the others, leader or not!
Michonne is very mysteriouse and sometimes hard to handle ,but they know she is an asset because she is one tuff bitch!
Mental illness is a perfectly natural reaction to an absolutely unnatural environment. For both the show and comics the characters that end up surviving to the next scene/page become even more torn away from the norm and long for it even more. The first pages of issue 58 illustrate this social condition beautifully. As do innumerable stories based on real events, esp. those about war.
Rick’s hallucinations will most likely die down, but neither he nor anyone in his group will over come it.
He’s only being pointed out as the crazy one because the rest of the prison team haven’t caught up.
thanks for that and i know i basically said that about rick and the others. but thanks for the response
Sorry about the echo. I’m just glad there are people who understand his situation.
lol its cool i really like that your responding i think everyone is just caught up on the visual and a little about the mental aspects ,but subconsiousely they love it and want to understand it.
Totally Agree
amazing episode. get it together rick. your group needs you.
I love daryl he is the best and this episode when he saves rick i was jumping up and down and when he saved that family i thought it was so sweet
BRING THE REAL ANDREA FROM THE COMICS TO THE TV SHOW !! PLESE !!… i am thinking that maybe this masked person that dumped the zombies in the prison yard is maybe some one from tyrese’s group and as they were leaving the prison the governor found them and offered them protection at woodbury in exchange for their services against ricks group !!
Hmmm….how about that little fella….what’s his name…Ben….the one that wanted to take out Carl & Carol? Whoever it is hiding in that getup is a lillte fella (or girl).
I really can relate to what Kirkman said, this is a different story, so what happened in the comic not necessarily need to happened in the show, i love the idea of uncertainty, and i still feel these characters that we’ve been seeing in the show are evolving by the minute and they might become (or not) what we’ve been seeing in the comic book for the past couple of years, i won’t be disappointed though…
I still feel they (the show’s characters) are more appealing to me, there’s more of a human side of each one, to see Glenn evolving, Carl growing up, Rick going down and experiencing pain in a different way it’s priceless!, Andrea finding her way and dealing with her thoughts it’s really amazing…the show show you a more vulnerable character than the “killing machines” we’ve been used to in the comic…I adore the comic book, and i appreciate it for what it is…but people need to let go of what’s known about The Walking Dead, and Experience AMC’s TWD as a new manifestation of this amazing story!
Refreshing POV from a comic book reader!
my friend and i were watching like 10 minutes of boring conversation between axel and carol. then my friend turns away for one second and axel got shot. he was so pissed it was hilarious.
This was a fantastic episode. The pacing was spot on, the character development was all there and the action was adrenaline pumping. This is, for me, one of the best episodes yet!
did anyone notice darly’s tattoo on back was on left the in another scene on the right?love this show but my daughter in law caught that one. and in the coming attraction u see the governers eye scar on the left then on the right.love it! iam just sayin. the mask figur is he women on the wall, my son thinks and i agree.love daryl my favorite.i think andreawll run that town.
Darrly could never stay away from then group…….I knew he would be back…I love the walking dead
There was absolutely nothing wrong with last week’s episode being “Slow” — It’s good for a show to have time for the characters to re-act and take in their experiences. It pisses me off every time I read comments from the online crowd about how slow the 2nd season was… What I loved about The Walking Dead was that it had a quality to the storytelling and characters and it WASN’T just an average, generic zombie serial; The First Season introduced us to the characters and the reality, giving us people who appeared to be everyday people; people who made mistakes, people who were capable of making wrong choices, people who grieved for longer then a minute — most importantly, people who were trying to come to terms with being ripped out of their comfortable lifestyles and a life they took for granted, and the hope they were all desperately clinging onto that things would return to normal. The Second Season was about the characters losing their hope and coming to terms with the world they now live in and how this world can change people: It was morals and beliefs being challenged by the reality. The 2nd Season wasn’t just “The group wandering around the farm talking about their feelings” — the pacing was perfectly fine, and there was definitely exciting things happening. To me, the 2nd season was about character growth for the majority of the group (Aside from T-Dog, who only had a brief “I’m not a pussy” talk with Dale.) BUT, because the show focused on the characters acting as real people, trying to cope with the new reality, and not just a soulless “kill, kill, kill” zombie yarn, it lead to a massive amount of online bitching. .. And it seemed that the Producers unfortunately listened… while Season 3 is excitingly fast paced, the show has clearly lost its quality. Now, I love the comics and have them all, but I thought Frank Darabont did a fantastic job in translating the world and the characters and made it as realistic as possible for this story. Last weeks episode had some downtime for Rick’s crew to gather their thoughts about their attack on Woodbury, and the people of Woodbury to gather their thoughts on the attack. It was nice to have an episode where the characters had time to think and discuss rather then getting another action packed episode. It’s a zombie SERIAL, and I think there needs to be more patience before the series wears itself out by catering to the Resident Evil fans who only want to see non-stop action without an ounce of quality. I hope the 4th season returns the series to great instead of taking even farther down the road of mediocrity
Totally agree Man, Love the 3rd season but also loved the 2nd. I dont understand the people that didn’t like it on the farm, didn’t like Hershel, and thought it was too slow. I don’t mind when they let everyone catch there breath for an episode, and we get to learn more about the characters.
Well said! If the show loses its element of intimacy, my interest will wane. The “Resident Evil” stuff is best left for a 2 hour movie and I get my fair share of those!
This show needs Ron Moore(star trek:ds9,battlestar galactica)
damn this just keeps getting better
cant wait till next week
I am a huge Daryl fan. I knew he would be the one to save Rick!!! And Rick needs some saving… I am pretty disappointed in him right now. I know he has had it rough, but then everyone else has had it rough, too!
Thank goodness Glenn is stepping up to fill in for Rick! I can’t wait to see what happens when Daryl brings Merle into the prison. It is bound to be explosive between him and Glenn. I just can’t wait to see what happens there!!! Merle is just liable to say some stuff to get Daryl in trouble with the rest of the group. As much as he has become a core member of the group; Merle could really screw it up for him. I sure hope Daryl can control his ugly brother. Glenn has every right to want to kill him after what he did to him. Can Daryl convince him not to kill him? And if so… for how long?
Daryl Dixon has his own issues, but he knows how to get stuff done. I am so glad he brought his bad-ass back to the prison just in time to save the day!
Andrea is getting ready to be the kind of woman she needs to be; just you wait and see…
Love this Show ! Is too bad all the other networks are trying to copy it, theyt never will, your
writeres are great. Here is my though — >> When are you going to have some hadicapped people, I am in a power chair and would love o be a DEAD just sort of rolling around trying to keep up with the crow, Mybe in a souped up chair with batteries hanging on allover just to keep it going. contact me: michaelyoung200@com
If rick gets bit: It should be on the left arm> and Merle should cut it off with one swipe of his knife arm(right) saving him; so the disease don’t spread, etc. Just like Rick saved the only sane guy of the bunch, lol, by instantly cutting off his leg!
earlburns04@yahoo.com
Oh my god this episode was so EPIC, words can’t describe how shocked I was when the governor shot Axel… <3 THIS SHOW, watch it online 2 days before it airs in my country, sometimes I even stay awake all night long waiting for it to be uploaded. <3
I really enjoyed the episode. 9/10
I kind of felt like we were seeing into the window of various kinds of abuse and how it effects an individual and those surrounding. Merle and Dixon (Merle prob felt that he was the only one suffering the abuse and felt that Dix would be alright if he left)…. obviouslty not the case!!! Andrea may not be battered but I see her slowly acepting the Governers madness and acepting his not cool behaviours…. I hope she finds out what a schmuck he is and soon. (Sorry David) And the Maggie and Glen, now that they have survived and are one home territory we see the come down. I think maggie is trying to understand what happened to her, her percieved culpability and guilt over the feelings as she was not raped. I think she is also angry at Glen because he thinks she was raped and she feels that what actually happened wasnt enough. I cant wait till next week, this is an awsome show. (An graphic series).
