Chandler Riggs has officially returned to television. This week the former Carl actor tweeted that a year after getting killed off The Walking Dead he had finally got cast in a new show. “Four days ago I was almost unemployed for a full year…right now i’m sitting on the set of season one of an incredible tv show for my first day of work,” Riggs tweeted (see below). He then followed that up by announcing he was joining “A Million Little Things” on ABC after it was first reported by TV Line.

“A Million Little Things” is an hour-long dramaedy which follows a close-knit group of friends in Boston forced to reckon with the unexpected suicide of one of their best friends. From then on they promise to live their lives to the fullest, hence enjoying the million little things life has to offer. The show premiered on September 26th, 2018 and was picked up for a full 17-episode season two months later. It’s unclear when Riggs will make his debut, but we expect sometime in the next few months.
Aside from his new gig, Riggs has been creating music under the name Eclipse, rap battling Chad L. Coleman, and mastering his new flamethrower from Elon Musk’s Boring Company. He’s also been active (and hilarious) on Twitter! Check out the trailer for his new show below and catch new episodes Thursdays at 9PM on ABC. Congrats, Chandler!
Good he’s getting work, but, come on, isn’t there a spark of imagination left in tinseltown instead of rehashing and sequeling everything already ever made? His “new” series sounds just like The Big Chill from the 1980’s. I’d rather see the 2-hour movie again, it was great, instead of wasting time on a drawn-out stolen premise.
