In the town of Rome, the law is upheld by Chief Giles. Giles is deeply committed to his town and the people who reside in it. He is also fiercely loyal and willing to go as far as he needs to protect his family and his friends. He is not a man to be taken lightly.
With the darkness in Rome growing, Giles finds his own beliefs tested along the way. He’s been around too long to bury his head in the sand and pretend things aren’t happening and he quickly comes to realize just how prevalent and pervasive the evil in town is. He attempts to help Kyle and the Reverend as much he can within the means of the law even going so far as to bend a few rules for them.
