Fear the Walking Dead is adding some serious depth to its cast this season. Showrunners Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg recently revealed that actor Matt Frewer has been added to the show for Season 5. “We also have Matt Frewer joining the show, a fantastic actor,” Goldberg recently told Entertainment Weekly. “We don’t want to say too much about the character he’s playing, but we’re excited about it.” We CAN reveal Frewer is playing a character named Logan, but that’s all (for now).
Matt Frewer boasts an eclectic decades-long acting resume that includes roles such as Molach in “The Watchmen,” Big Russ in “Honey I Shrunk the Kids,” and (more recently) Dr. Aldous Leekie in “Orphan Black” (see his entire credits here). Frewer joins Fear the Walking Dead newcomers Karen David, Bailey Gavulic, Ethan Seuss, and Cooper Dodson for Season 5. Additionally, Fear vet Rubèn Blades is returning as Daniel Salazar after a year-long hiatus and Austin Amelio’s Dwight is crossing over from The Walking Dead.
