Nearly everyone outside of Madison plotted their escape from the stadium in the past while John made a grim discovery in the present. Here are new character Power Rankings for both timelines after Week Four.
“BEFORE”
1. Madison
Poor Madison is blissfully unaware that nearly everyone close to her are quietly plotting their escape from the stadium. Still, she still runs the place with the plotters living under that roof, so she remains at the top spot.
2. Mel
Mel shed light on his dark past by recalling the time he condemned his last community to death by tricking them into staying during a walker attack. These sorts of fun insights remind us that behind his fresh cut and hotdog roasts is an evil, evil man who Madison should be cautious with.
3. Strand (+1)
Strand’s grand plan to secretly horde supplies in a truck to lure Cole away from the stadium backfired spectacularly. Even so, the fact Strand’s capable of that and isn’t afraid to do it again gives him a lot of power in this community.
4. Naomi (+4)
Even though she’s a notorious deserter, Naomi’s enjoying a giant boost this week for influencing Alicia and the others into thinking their stadium plan is doomed. Although she’s not the first to think this, she helped flick the dominoes that will eventually end to the stadium’s demise. Influence is power.
5. Alicia (-2)
Alicia might have had fun at the waterpark, but she should know better than to let a stranger (Naomi) to influence her into betraying her mom.
6. Luciana (-1)
Luciana’s getting marked down for devising her own flawed scheme to leave the stadium for more fruitful pastures. The idea itself is fine, but the sneaky way she went about it is not. Also, who just points to a location on a map and decides to go there? What is this, Yes Man?
7. Nick (-1)
Nick’s getting marked down for mostly agreeing to Luciana’s plan. Even though they clued Madison into the idea, it’s still flawed to split the gang up.
8. Cole (NEW)
We’re adding Cole into the mix for standing up to Strand and denying him the satisfaction of ditching everyone else. Very Okoye of Cole to do.
9. Charlie (-4)
Not only was Charlie absent from this episode, but she’s also exhausted most of her intel gathering techniques. Since Madison and her group know she’s a mole who’s listening in on their radio calls, they have nothing left to fear from her. She’s figured out.
“NOW”
1. Althea
Since Althea and her truck are the key to anyone doing anything, she continues to sit atop our list of our Power Rankings.
2. Alicia (+2)
Alicia seems more determined than ever to enact revenge on the Vultures, and because of that we’re moving her up a few spots.
3. Strand (+2)
Strand is also motivated, so he’s similarly getting boosted up our list.
4. Luciana (+3)
Still reeling from Nick’s death, Luciana will also seek revenge against Charlie and the Vultures over her pain.
5. Morgan (-3)
Morgan was a true friend this episode by recognizing John’s pain and staying behind to help him. As generous as it was, without a truck or any consistent source of supplies and food he has surrendered most of his power.
6. John (-3)
Same goes for John – the news that his beloved Laura might be dead will for sure rattle him, but he’ll recover. We’ll get a lot more story from him next episode.
7. Charlie (-1)
Charlie wasn’t in this episode so she’s getting pushed down a spot.
That wraps up our dual character Power Rankings for Week Four! What did you think of the lists? Let us know in the comments!
