This year’s San Diego Comic-Con was a special one for Skybound Insiders, as tons of them turned out for our daily meet-ups throughout the convention. From Thursday to Saturday morning, Insiders were invited to meet outside of Sally’s Fish House and Bar at the Manchester Grand Hyatt to pick up Insider-only variants of Invincible #2 and other daily prizes…
…And to put a face to their fellow Insiders, as well as those of us who work at Skybound. We had the opportunity to greet longstanding Insiders and new recruits alike! 75 of these exclusive comics were given away on each of the three days. Insiders also received a secret code that would enter them into that day’s giveaway. Here’s a breakdown of the giveaways and their winners…
On Friday morning, Thursday’s giveaway winner — Josh Sobieraj, received his collectible The Walking Dead prize bundle (pictured above) to the cheers and applause of his fellow Insiders. This included our SDCC 2024 exclusive The Walking Dead Variant Bundle and a CGC 9.8 Graded, Robert Kirkman Signed The Walking Dead #1 “The Last Wine” Edition Comic
Similarly, Friday’s giveaway winner “LBbuddha1,” a self-described “lifelong G.I. Joe fan” arrived in the nick of time at Saturday morning’s meet-up to receive his Larry Hama-signed G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #1 The Larry Hama Cut comic.
Day 3’s winner, Michael B from St. Louis will behold his prize – an Invincible Eyes Without a Face Print Pack & Signed Art of Invincible Season 1 book — later this week upon its arrival from our offices here in Los Angeles.
At the end of the three days, the camaraderie amongst Insiders and Skybound employees was at an all-time high, culminating in a group picture with our program manager Sophia and some of the lovely Insiders who attended…
