The Meatgrinder Update introduces a new game mode called ‘The Trial’, where players will face off against relentless waves of walkers. As players survive each round, they’ll be rewarded with points based on their performance, and face new challenges as each level adds to the ever-growing horde of walkers. Crafting the ultimate arsenal and using the environment for any advantage will be key to surviving. Players will need to get creative in their kills as they manage their resources appropriately in the midst of chaos if they hope to make it out alive
The update will also see the addition of the ‘Absolution’ katana weapon skin. Players can slice and dice enemies in style as they forgive their sins.
Finally, players will be able to explore a new difficulty option for the campaign, allowing them to take on their undead adventure in the flooded streets of New Orleans with a difficulty setting prioritizing story over gameplay challenge. Stay tuned for future additions to this new difficulty setting feature
Developed by Skydance Interactive in partnership with Skybound Entertainment, The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners drops players into an original new story in The Walking Dead universe, set in the unforgiving and infested remains of New Orleans. Players will embark on a gruesome adventure as they fight for survival against not just walkers, but the constant threats of violence, disease and famine, and make gut-wrenching choices along their journey that will determine the future for everyone left alive in NOLA.
The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners Standard Edition is available for $39.99 via the Oculus Store, Steam, PlayStation Store and The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners’ official website. Players looking for even more content can learn more about the Tourist and Tower Editions, which offers more in-game bonuses and exclusive items, on The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners’ official website.
