Witch Doctor: Mal Practice is almost finished! What sayeth the critics of the penultimate issue?
Ain’t It Cool News: “You really should do yourself a favor and check out comic book magic and mayhem done right with WITCH DOCTOR: MAL PRACTICE!”
You should!
IGN: “…co-creators Lukas Ketner and Brandon Seifert ratchet up the amplitude in this week’s episode… a thoroughly entertaining experience.”
They do! And it is!
Newsarama: “There is a lot to like about Witch Doctor: Mal Practice #5. Brandon Seifert’s writing is sharp and packed with Dr. Morrow’s signature wit. Lukas Ketner’s art is equally horrific, with just a touch of the fantastic and absurd to stop the book from being too serious. But in the end, the element I liked the most about this issue was loyal paramedic Eric Gast.”
The element I like the most is the antagonistic relationship between Dr. Morrow and Necromancer-pathologist Catrina Macabrey, but hey, potato/potato, am I right, Newsarama? I still love you.
Broken Frontier: “This is the monster we’ve been waiting all series to see and it was well worth the build-up… I’ll be sad to see Witch Doctor leave the shelves.”
Awww, me too! Luckily I can just make Seifert send me witty supernatural/action emails each week.
