THE WHISPERER WAR PART 1
The time has come. The forces are aligning. The war has begun! Has Rick brought about the demise of everything he’s built? Or will he triumph once again? Know this… there will be a cost.
Awesome! I wonder how the Kingdom will fit into all this. It’s also great to see Heath again, Magna too!
Magna’s been in 5 of the 6 issues in Call to Arms, so she wasn’t gone except for last Issue, which was Negan and the Whisperers. We hadn’t seen Heath do anything important since Issue #141 where he spoke rudely about the Saviors.
I know Magna has been around, but it looks like she might actalually be doing something important, which I’m excited about.
Rick. Looks. Pissed.
I honestly have know idea how this is going to go down. The village looks shocked. I really don’t know what to expect. Especially after last episode.
*issue. Derp.
The village? Now ASZ is a village? Never thought of it like that, but I’ve seen your comments and a couple others that say “village” which is really interesting.
Then again, village’s definition is “a group of houses and associated buildings, larger than a hamlet and smaller than a town, situated in a rural area.”
So you’re not wrong.
I predict war.
Solid prediction
Finally!
100% complete predicition*
.
*unless RK reads this and has to quickly erase and crap out a new plot to shift away from the reader’s predicitions.
*predictions… crap.
You know he’s done that before.
Looks like that top one is page one, panel one, according to last Letter Hacks.
It’d be a bit weird don’t you think. Starting an issue, a volume, a book like that? Maybe it’s part of the first page or two, but that’s a bit of a strange opening (sequence-wise) for an event like this
If you look at the cover to this issue you’ll notice one thing: the blade of the windmill. Where is it pointing? Alpha’s neck. What happens when you pass a blade through a persons neck? Their head comes off. The clues were there the whole time. We might have already known…
Rimshot
To me it looks more like an appalled disgust on the peoples faces. Maybe Rick cut the heck out of someone and is showing everyone, to clue them in on how incredibly vicious the Whisperers can be, even without Alpha.
Nice catch on the windmill! Never saw that coming. Alpha is also surrounded by a big splotch of blood.
It would be just like the guys though to show us just a panel or two of the Alpha-Beta-Rick and Negan thing, then switch to the Eugene story line again!
Hmm…the cover to me looks more like they are horrified by Negan showing up with Alpha’s head and Rick being pissed at Negan for actually starting the war.
Negans time with the whispers lasted for a couple of weeks and they were not attacking.
Bwahahahaha, maybe Rick is taking a crap in front of everyone.
JK, definitely looks like everyone in the village is shocked. Maybe Negan has flung the head near them and stuff is spraying out of the severed neck. Or she’s turned and they’re freaking out on the walker head.
Either way Rick looks like he’s pissed that he now has to face up to the Whisperers earlier than planned (or it’s a particularly hard crap)… XD
Uh-oh..
in part 2 Michonne will die (i’m afraid of the thought, but could follow it, due to the
last released issues..) followed by the death of Beta in part 3 – AND:
*congrats* to the guy/member here, who mentioned the blood on the issues.
To make this story line better, (and subjectivelly) greater than “All out war”,
at least one faction might fall. I bet on Hilltop.
The cover might show a frown on Rick, as Negan returns and shows the head of Alpha,
which shockes the people – but let em keep in line (sick, i know.. but *do* *feel* other
sick things going on in the states now.. sadly..) – joining Negan, as Rick didn’t show
the will for a “consequence” (although that consequence he did is still absurd for me)
My bet is that Mr. Kirkman is more near the end of the story, than we all know.
To create a remembered story, he surely will end this before #200. Or with it.
Bet, in #160 the unknown members of the opposite of the radio will start the final..
Saying this: I love the comic more than the games (#02) or the show (#03).
And: Dwight may kill Rick. Only presumptians.
