Led to Slaughter.
Is that Aaron? He better not get axed…
Looks more like Dwight to me but we can’t be sure. Charlie draws a lot of characters too similarly.
No, that’s not Dwight. Can’t be. He’s not blonde, and I highly doubt he started scavenging and found some old Eminem CDs and decided to take some peroxide from his bathroom cabinet and became “The Real Slim Shady”
Rick sent Michonne to lead the Kingdom. It’s probably someone from there.
the sword makes me that that also
I scrolled down and see you thought the same thing. That must be it then. It’s a Kingdom member.
Lovin the cover!
IS THAT A NEW CHARACTER?! OMG I am dreading the future, being that this and 153 (heavy hangs the head) both look like dangerous issues.
Perhaps the voice on the radio..?
ALSO: in the background, those are not all walkers, between Michonne and the other guy there is a whisperer.
They’re all whisperers, they all have weapons.
Yup I noticed that now, thank you.
Whisperers are good at disguise but how good will they be up against asskickers?
It does look like Dwight to me. Looks like they are in a whole lotta shit. Maybe an ambush?
Too blonde to be Dwight.
Looks like Aaron. I hope he’s featured in issues to come, I like his character – seen very little of him lately. Either that or put him out of his misery 😉
Is anyone else thinking it may just be Michonne and a Kingdom member? Michonne said she’ll be going back to the Kingdom as their leader. My assumption is that The Whisperers either attack Michonne and another Kingdom guy who’s leaving the fair with her, or they’re at the Kingdom and Whisperers attack.
.
Another assumption could be that Michonne goes to the Kingdom with Aaron (for some reason) and they decided to go he place, and this may be on their journey
Or maybe it’s a new character? So many questions!
Alpha’s husband/Lydia’s father!
Daaaamn what a plot twist would that be!
OH SHIT!!! Michonne!!! Is this the new character Kirkman hinted at in the Winter 2016 Issue of the Official TWD Mag?! I think maybe!!!
Can you send the link about that? I’m interested.
This dude in the cover kind of looks like me in real life expect I’m 15 lol
First thought to come to mind: AARON??!
But I think it’s a new character!
A bit of a dull cover compared to the last few but I guess that’s to be expected. Not bad, though.
Beats that big “150” on #150. Beats #151 for sure.
I liked 150. Cover made it really feel like a momentous occasion. Granted the contents… eh. #150’s events needed to happen, sure, but for a landmark issue it didn’t make me feel like anything had immediately changed.
#151 was pretty boring, though. Good to sew Dwight. Good to see Lucille. But Dwight just kinda holding her while he looks like he’s just taking a brisk walk? Booooring.
Talking just the artwork, I just didn’t like the big issue # on 150. I think something else could’ve been done if they wanted to make that stand out… and I believe an issue # should never throw a shadow on the character(s)/scene. And #151 was just ugly. Dwight doesn’t look like that! Dude looked like back-in-the-day Rick who’d put on a few pounds & picked up a snuff habit.
Let’s just be honest… Adlard does a GREAT job with full page spreads and inking… but he has a very programmed case of “same face” syndrome. There have been multiple times Dwight looked like “Alternate timeline Rick with burn face.”
The TWD subreddit even made a joke about one of the panels during the All Out War arc, entitling it “I’m glad Rick was there to save Rick from Rick.” And to add insult to injury, none of the characters (if I remember correctly) were even Rick!
LOLs! I always have a problem with Adlard’s torsos. But to balance things, I love his horses!
Loving this cover
Amazing!
Its Aaron, him and Michonne went after Negan
