Yeah, it’s madness. They’ve been delivered a week later but I’ve readjusted the shipping schedule & I just got isssue #140 today, so that’s much easier! I collect the hardcovers, so I’m maxed out as far as formats go.

Rick looks distraught!!! Like he has a lot of stuff and things on his mind! Probably heavy, pressing matters related to Carl, Negan and Michonne! But wouldn’t it be funny if his distress was over something lightweight, like he was just pissed off because he couldn’t sink Negan in the dunk tank during The Fair. Or he lost the two-legged race… or the pie eating contest… or the pin-the-tail-on-Negan game…

I suspect Rick finds out that Carl is missing, has a massive argument with Maggie in front of the entire “gathering” and then Negan turns up and all hell breaks loose.

First thing I thought was how it reminds me of a Vincent Van Gogh self-portrait and it didn’t end well for him.
I assume Rick would learn of Carl’s disappearance (since 142 looks to be when the fair is thrown) as well as whatever goes down with Negan before this issue sooo.. what’s got Rick Grimes all stressed beyond that? Maybe it’s another cover bluff though. Hm.
Hopefully Kirkman will kill Rick this issue. 😀

I swear to god if Rick dies….. That thing where Robert said Carl could carry the book now, yeah no he couldn’t. He’s with antagonists and he’s still an immature child.
I wouldn’t be as compelled to see what happens every month if Rick died, prolly be the beginning of the end of TWD series.

Maybe Carl is choosing to live with the Whisperers for a while and Rick has to let him go but he’s afraid he’ll lose his son forever. … = there’s nothing he can do or say. It is what it is.

You know, if you look at the #141 cover, Rick and Negan look to be wearing the same colors. HMMMMM
I also don’t think it’s mere coincidence that there would be two covers very reminiscent of each other for no reason. This cover and #137 with Carl looking rather pissed. Maybe Rick’s gonna lose his virginity now. Wait…
This ones going on display in my room right next to issue 137. Such amazing covers. They just keep getting better and better.
Why don’t we get to see the undressed versions of the covers anymore?
My own little prediction is that once Rick finds out from Maggie what’s been going on, he will pack himself some supplies, weapons, etc. and go out and about to find Carl. Maybe leave Andrea in charge? Or once Negan realizes that Rick is gone, he’ll try to kill Andrea and take over as Leader of Alexandria.
It’s only my own prediction. And from my personal opinion, I don’t see Rick being killed off anytime soon, I can see him being killed off in issue 200.

No one has mentioned anything about his beard being much much shorter…… Hell, give him black hair and no beard and he’s almost look like Aaron Hernandez.
I noticed that too. My dad said he looks like walter white in this picture and I was like “Dad. Just stop.” XD
Here’s my prediction….Michonne goes to the fair (after Rick practically begs her to) and is killed by Negan! We just saw Michonne re-introduced into the storyline, and Negan has just escaped…and they seem to both be on a path that will intersect. I’m not hoping for Michonne to die, as she’s one of my favorite characters, but we’ve already seen the story survive without her for a while. Killing her off would be an EPIC tragedy…the kind of which we’ve not seen since Negan killed Glenn.
Looks to me Rick is thinking about something crazy. Like who is going to fuck up to get Carol back.
