I wonder what will happen to Carl? I don’t think he will get away with it too easy.
Carl is gonna get in trouble. People will want him to pay for what he did and not get away with it just because he is the son of the Great Rick Grimes. That will leave him with one choice. Free Negan on go on the run.
As fun as that is to think about, I don’t see how that’s the one choice left.

Can’t wait to see what happens to Carl. It’s going to be tricky. Obviously, they’re going to have to punish him somehow, some sort of due process or else everything Rick is trying to achieve is for naught. No one can be above the law, not even Car Grimes, because if anyone person is above the law, there will be no law. Banishment would be too harsh, but I could see Carl possibly exiling himself for a short time. Just to get away, and deal with things.
I’m crossing my fingers though, and really hoping that they don’t have a chance to prosecute him; because the Whispered show up and begin mounting an attack. And Carl rises to the occasion and becomes on of the most pivotal people in defeating the Whisperers.
I have a feeling this Whisperers arc is going to be “Carl’s Arc”; his time to shine and truly ascend into manhood. This could be Carl’s “All Out War”.
Also, is that Sophia on Doc Carson’s exam table? I can’t tell. Part of me thought it could possibly be one of the bullies(I think one had long hair), and that maybe Carl did kill him completely graveyard dead, and now Doc Carson is struggling to stabilize the kid and save his life. Not because anyone cares about the kid personally; but they know if he dies, then Carl is guilty of double- homicide. But if he lives, Carl is only guilty of manslaughter and self-defense. Because the long-haired bully wasn’t the aggressor.
Let’s not forget, the dude hit Carl in the head with a brick, then began to whoop the crap out of Sophia. If that happened today, it would not be murder, it would be argued away as self-defense. Maybe he went a little too far… but I don’t think he was out of line. This was at least the second we’ve witnessed these kids violently attacking people. I can’t imagine that the rest of the colony doesn’t know what these hoodlums are about.
Great job Carl. Making the world a better place.
