I think Negan will be in there long enough for things to go noticeably haywire between Rick & Carl and then Carl’s rebellion is gonna go into overdrive. Jailbreak!

Maybe she’s bent on believing that “nice man who doesn’t utter the first cuss word” couldn’t possibly be a bad guy & something’s wrong with the people who’ve jailed him.

I am always out-of-bounds. I’m hoping she’s the next mega villain & then she’ll end up being Rick’s right hand (oops!), bumping Andrea out of her spot, lol!

Becoming Negan’s allies or becoming the next mega villain is a very cliched move if Robert Kirkman really wants to do so. RK better do something more creative and leas cliche-ridden.

Well, it’s not my job to figure this out right? It’s RK’s job.
Kirkman always surprises us, regardless of the appearances of villians. We all have ideas of what may happen or what we’d like to see happen. I was just asking what yours were.
Well I am thinking Magna and Co. are spies of another community. They send spies because they want to know whether Rick’s community is a good one, or if they will pose a threat on themselves. Since Magna may become another main protagonist, she might start to become affectionate with the rest of the community and forget to get back to her own and report to her own community. Her own community might think that Alexandria and Hilltop are a threat owing to the lack of information by Magna and started to suspect Rick that he and the community might have kidnapped her. They may become the rivals of Alexandria and Hilltop and may become the next main antagonist (well, because of various misunderstandings).
I think Magna’s backstory of the community woll play a vital role in the story (is it a Carver-like bad community or a truly amazing community). Magna will have to take a side. She will have to choose whether she trusted Rick/her original community.
I like it. What I think would really break the monotony of introducing a villain is Carl’s story. I think rebellion of the leader’s son could rip a settled community apart. Negan obviously plays a big part in this & Magna brings the element of unpredictability.
Now either one or both of these scenarios would keep things interesting, I think. There’s no way in hell Kirkman is just gonna leave us to watch workmanship, pig farming, crop growing, & walker herding. 😉
Well, Carl’s rebellion will keep the story interesting, and since Carl is still kinda immature, he may team up with Negan and may eventually be the one who helps Negan to break out of jail and starts the so-called “revolution”. In the end he may realise what he’s done is wrong and may end up being the one killing Negan. Rick, Michonne and some others may die because of the big mistake made by Carl. Negan may also end up allying with Magna’s community too! And this will be a very intirguing story arc.
Not to mention that we still have key players that we haven’t even seen yet. Michonne, Ezekiel, Maggie. Then there’s Dwight. You think we’ll see him again?
Dang thats what I was hoping to read in the next few issues….
I really think it will lead up to it.
If he wanted to he could have both of those things happen but in a very creative surprising way.

Remember those few months when there was like 6-7 pages out if you knew where to look? lol I remember it felt like half the story. I think they should at least give us a page to get the slightest context of what we are looking at.

Yeah I always tried to avoid the big previews, it always felt like they were giving away far to much! So please Brian & Lizzy don’t bring them back keep with the small previews.

besides,it looks like negans been there at least a coupla years for him to grow his hair as long as it is, so if carl WAS gonna kill him, I’d bet he woulda done it by now.
you wonder, if it took rick and his group about a year or so to get all the way to Washington, then, add another 2 years to that (according to normal hair growth), with everything going on in the post apocalyptic world…..would anyone even remember negan after so much time had passed? I mean, you know the way ricks group of people tend to forget those who have passed, so would the masses even remember him if he escaped?

Am I one of the few that doesn’t think Magna is going to turn out to be bad? I guess so.
Lot’s of us making these guesses are always wrong. A handful of us truly thought this was Lilly Caul on the cover of #127. It is quite OK to assume Magna’s gonna be good.
I was part of that group as well. But that was back when I thought they would shift away from Rick’s group completely.
