The Walking Dead 111 dropped today! Jesus seems to be over Greg’s shit (to be fair, Greg is kind of a perv). Andrea’s putting together a sniper team. Michonne’s putting together a… fencing team. Negan shows up at the Safe-Zone to just chill and enjoy the amenities. Oh and Spencer suffered from some minor bowel distress.
What did you think?
Are those last 3 pages as epic as I think they are?
What will Rick think when he gets back?
Does this little (or not so little) army have a chance?
Something’s going to go down with Greg at the Hilltop. Will it be at the worst possible time?
Does Rick get jealous any time he sees someone playing pool?
DISCUSS!
Good to have some action. And spencer is was a turd. Glad he bit it 🙂
Great comic this month amazing ending it really showed Negan’s crazy side a person that did nothing to him got killed from Negan’s messed up personality
Negan definitely has his own moral code. When he sees that Spencer is someone that would turn on his leader, Spencer gets a free intestinal evacuation.
Predicted the outcome over on the walking dead comics facebook page a few days back. The prerelease of covers for 111, 112, & 113 was so obviously a rick is going to die bait and switch trick just like they did a few issues back when everyone thought carl was going to die and a few issues before that with rick again. The issue was a great setup for the upcoming war and the suspense is great. Although with all this upcoming andrea cover time I think her days are numbered.
Robert does like his red herrings. Are you a fan of our new(ish) official Facebook page?
Great Issue in The Walking Dead! Negan is truely showing whos boss in this
post-apocalypse! This Issue was purely amazing seeing Negan expose Spencer’s guts across the Safe-Zone Grounds for Rick Grimes to soon come back and find! Definitely cannot wait for issue 112! Happy Readings everyone!
Excellent Issue. Things are really ramping up with the newly formed “army” to resist the Saviors. I’m really looking forward to seeing how everything pans out in the next few issues.
My kids and I literally applauded when we saw the group of walkers in this issue. We were like “Hey they haven’t killed all the zombies yet!” Also, when reading these to my kids I have to do a little on the spot editing/censoring to make it age appropriate… Thanks a f…ing lot, f…ing Negan!
No matter what happens in the war we are in for some big changes. a lot of deaths and new characters I am sure. I have not been let down yet in 111 issues. How do you top killing Lori or Glen ?
Is there going to be anything happening for the 10 year anniversary?
The moral of the story is, the enemy of my frenemy is my enemy. Negan seemed to be looking out for Rick, taking out Rick’s opposition when Negan could’ve potentially made a friend inside to keep an eye on Rick. Shows how much he believes Rick is under his heel as well.
I was thinking that things were going way too smoothly with the anti-Saviors alliance about halfway through this one. Still think that actually. Spencer was just the first pot hole in what I think will be a very ugly ride. And Michonne getting all smiley gives me a very bad feeling. Storms a-comin’ folks.
Good Lord. AWESOME issue. After the bore fest that was last month, this more than made up for it. I thought Rick was doomed for sure. I love it anytime we get some good Negan dialogue. That whole scene with Olivia was great. The haters who think the Negan story line is just Governor 2.0 don’t know what they are talking about. This is getting good. Also: Finally, someone took out that sniveling wuss Spencer. Wonder how Andrea’s gonna react?
Honestly I was kind of hoping for more, Spencer was a bitch anyway. Personally I would have liked to see him snap on Rick, or maybe even Andrea. Whatever though, no real complaints, I’m intrigued by Negan’s unpredictability. As a psychology major, it’s fun trying to get into the head of these characters through their actions. Honestly I hope the give Negan a little more definition. I would like to see a larger difference from the Governor. While they are completely different characters, and clearly have some substantial different mental issues, it is true that they are still kind of similar. So I really look forward where they take the next issues of the series.
So glad that Spencer finally died. I’ve been wanting him to die pretty much since the end of Volume 14: No Way Out. I can’t wait till October when the All Out War story arc begins. 2 issues a month for half a year?! I can dig it. I just hope and pray that Rick doesn’t end up dying. At least not now anyways.
