So we finally know that Ezekiel does, in fact, have a tiger. And he’s ready for war! Bad ass.
Ezekiel’s settlement is called “The Kingdom” and he goes by “King Ezekiel” (and we thought the Governor had delusions of grandeur). The dude has a tiger for a pet. Is he a nutter? Or the answer to Rick’s prayers?
Can we trust Dwight? He did have half of his face melted off by Negan and his wife stolen…
Negan likes ping pong! Is it possible this entire thing will come down to a winner-take-all ping pong match between Rick and Negan? Will Rick’s handicap ultimately prove fatal because he can’t adequately compete at table tennis?
DISCUSS!
Well if it did come down to table tennis, Rick could duct tape a paddle on there, BAM!
I feel like we can trust Dwight. Sure, keep him at stubs length but, I have a good feeling about him. I don’t know how I feel about Ezekiel. Something just doesn’t set right with me.
This might be the comment of the month.
Except that Dwight has been OK with pillaging and murdering for Negan even BEFORE he burnt his face, at least as far as we know.
How do people get into these situations where the looniest guy gets in charge? The Governor, Negan, Ezekiel. When the ZA comes, if a funny-looking dude with an eye patch, carrying a bat wrapped in barbed wire and a tiger by his side starts ordering people around. Shoot him first.
Why would a normal person want to take charge? It seems to be a pretty stressful job.
I feel once negan’s out the way ezekiel is going to try to take over, the man has a bigger god complex than negan
“stubs length”. heh heh. Negan knew Dwight was going somewhere, what if it WAS his plan all along and maybe if Dwight pulls this off he gets his wife back? Ezekiel like a MOFO! And what’s up with Spencer?
Seriously. That’s got me nervous. Will he put Andrea or Rick in danger?
Am I the only one who wants Shiva’s backstory? I mean, Shiva could have come from a zoo and Ezekiel could have kept her alive, it is plausible, but it seems really weird to just have zombie, zombie, zombie, TIGER! out of nowhere…in the DC area. Hopefully the Walking Dead doesn’t get flak for jumping the tig— er, shark on this one, but a backstory could be useful for keeping the tiger under “realistic” rather than “outlandish”
(Yeah, I know zombies aren’t completely realistic, either, but with any zombie work you’re usually expected to have that one leap of faith.)
Ezekiel was probably a zookeeper and one of the shows he did was King Ezekiel and his Kingdom of Animals
Ezekiel turns out to be a sheep farmer. That’s the only way he could feed an adult TIGER DURING A ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE. Sorry about the caps, but seriously, that’s just one of the dumbest things I’ve ever seen. Next issue, Michonne swims with dolphins & Neegan rides a giraffe.
Looks like Negan has a butt whooping on the way. They should let Maggie take him out
I am not sure if i can trust Dwight. Why hasn’t he just abandoned Negans group? Does he try to get info for Ezekial? This is getting intense. I’m excited to see how Hilltop is going, also. I can trust Ezekial a lot truthfully. yeah, its strange that he has a tiger, but Paul can trust him and i see Paul as a really good guy, Honestly.
I agree on trusting Ezekial. It seems like he is well known for hating Negan. Especially because that’s where Dwight decided to go first. Dwight on the other hand though seems untrustworthy. I bet if he killed Negan he would be the type to try to take over and betray Rick, Ezekial, and Jesus in a second. Maybe I’m wrong though, hopefully……
Omg im in love with The Walking Dead
Question: does anybody know what prison the episodes are being filmed at?
I’d say it’s somewhere around issue #40
Thanks. Actually, I was wondering what prison it was. I found out. It’s West Central State Prison, located somewhere around Macon. The prison was closed a few years ago, and I had wondered which of the closed prisons in Georgia they were using…
I was under the impression they made the prison? I thought they turned an area near their studio into it.
Actually, I had served some time in prison myself and had wondered which of the closed prisons they had decided to use. It’s in wikipedia, I think.
What I don’t get about this issue is why is Carl’s information so important? The issue implies that Dwight has been allied with the communities/Ezekiel for a while now. So what information does Carl have that Dwight doesn’t? Jesus and Ezekiel said that now that they have Carl’s information they can start preparing for an attack but Carl only saw things that Dwight has seen as well…
This question may be posted somewhere in the comics section here but since I’m just starting in the comics, I don’t want to start reading this section until I catch up with you guys…anyway, question:
What’s a good site where I can subscribe to the mail order form of the comic? I’m not interested in digital & the nearest dealer is about an hour’s drive away. Hell, we don’t even have a book store in my small city!
TIA!
I hope Ezekiel ends up being a badass! I love the tiger. Issue #108 had me laughing. Jesus turned out to be ok so far and I was skeptical about him. I want to see the tiger own some zombies 🙂
All hail Governor CARL!!!
everyone’s hating on Ezekiel, but I’d say it’s about time to have a badass black dude with a cane, a tiger, and a feudal fiefdom ( oh and dreadlocks, can’t forget those). If he and Jesus can’t help rick take out Negan ( Which I have to say I am finding myself oddly taking to as a character, at least as far as the fact that some of his lines have literally made me laugh out loud). Anyway, now that I am up to date on every issue I find myself crying in bed at night waiting for the next issue to come out so I can leaf through it 50 times.
While I’m here also I would like to address all this Rick and Andrea hate. Y’all need to back off, Andrea is pretty much the only woman left that is strong enough to be with rick. Rick doesn’t need to be helping some damsel in distress. He needs andrea behind him with her badass marksman skills.
Long live Rick and Andrea!! <3
ps. This is the only zombie fiction I can read outside of the fantasy/necromancy sort that doesn't piss me off. KEEP IT COMING!!
cheers,
Carl did the right thing by shooting woodbury Jodi because they said drop your weapon, not hand over your gun.
Personally, I think Dwight is to be trusted considering the interactions that we have seen between him and Negan.
Aren’t you guys wondering what Carl’s punishment will be? Or, will Carl turn on his dad and the others?
Actually, my bigger concern is . . . who is going to be cast as Ezekiel in the TV show? George Clinton?
I heard a rumor Robert Kirkman was ending the series with issue #150. Please don’t let this be true because I just stated reading the walking dead and I love. I loved reading the compendiums back to back, it blew my mind!
I like the new setting. The school.
