The winners of The London Book Fair International Book Industry Excellence Awards were announced, and Robert Kirkman & Skybound won the Crossmedia Award for Best Use of IP!
Now if that sounds confusing, let’s break it down. IP stands for Intellectual Property (for example, TWD is an IP, and Invincible is another IP). If you don’t know about Skybound, Robert Kirkman’s imprint at Image Comics and home of all things The Walking Dead, go educate yourself here. Skybound publishes all sorts of great comics, but also works on video games, feature films, merchandise, live events and more! That’s where crossmedia comes in.
Anyway, we’re stoked for Robert and proud that Skybound was recognized.
