This is as good a place as any to discuss it, I guess… Those of you who follow the Tweets on the right hand side of this website, any thoughts about “In three days he rises” and “He is coming” ?
Saw that & got my interest up, too! I’m thinking it has to do with the new comic Birthright. But then it could also just be a fun way to tease about Kirkman going to NYCC.
Well, I hope it’s something interesting. Maybe TWD related.
Me too! I’m a Skybound/Image sponge!
Hai.
Surely if it was Birthright related, it would have been posted originally somewhere other than TWD twitter feed? Who knows, maybe a new exclusive action figure, or perhaps a new issue of the character one offs? Maybe even casting news?
More I think about it, more I think it’s about Kirkman arriving in NY.
Now there is a third image. Maybe I should know the answer to this question, but what building is that?
That is indeed the convention center at NY where the comic con was held. At least now we know, huh? Lol!
JW Coombs pointed out in the Booth Artwork thread that this looks like a reveal of a McFarlane Jesus. I think that could be right!
Check out the discussion on the Booth Artwork thread!
It’s a reveal for a McFarlane Toy’s Jesus action figure exclusive.
Not sure if you’re the religious type; but all three teaser tag-lines are clearly indications of Jesus Christ(it took him 3 days to die and rise in resurrection, and what would HE do is WWJD).
Also, in each of the three images, there is a Mcfarlane Toys logo hidden somewhere.
Finally, the images are all of New York; with the third and final being the convention center itself.
So, add it all up-
1. Jesus references + 2.McFarlane Toys log0 + 3.NYCC exclusives= NYCC Exclusive Jesus Figure!!
It’s a McFarlane Toy’s Jesus action figure exclusive!
You may now jump for joy!
It’s official!
