I think somehow “the fear” is gonna take over some of the members of the Hilltop and they are gonna somehow try and screw Rick over. They were all stoked when they thought Rick and his group could take Negan and the Saviors out easily, but now that they’ve gotten a taste of how large and powerful they are….it’s only natural that sheep get scared. Also the possibility that Negan has people strategically intertwined in the Hilltop and the Kingdom is quite large. Wouldn’t be a huge shocker if someone like Jesus was a spy for Negan. Evil bastards know there is no better way to crush a group of people like getting their hopes up high first. Like just about every time things start to look up for Rick and his group, somehow something more horrible and soul crushing happens haha. BTW if this is how it plays out, I think this post deserves a spot in the Q&A page at the back of issue 112. Love the Walking Dead, can’t wait to read the upcoming issues.
