The Princess is here and we’re ready to make some alterations to our character Power Rankings. Let’s jump in.
1. Rick
This marks the first time since Issue #135 that Rick didn’t appear in a Walking Dead comic. Despite his absence he’s still the top power broker of the series and remains at the apex of our rankings.
2. Michonne (+1)
While Maggie heads to The Hilltop Michonne’s been sharpening her leadership skills in Pittsburgh. The best example is when she met The Princess, who she rightly didn’t trust and forced her to ride in front of their group unarmed. Princess might have ruffled Michonne’s feathers, but if anyone can get the fuzzy pink coat-wearing survivor to help them – it’s Michonne. For that, she gets moved up.
3. Maggie (-1)
Maggie only got moved down because of how badass Michonne’s been on their mission. Until we see more of Maggie, we’re keeping her at the 3 spot.
4. Carl
Carl, who has chosen to live and work at The Hilltop, also wasn’t in this issue. Look to see more of him in the coming months.
5. Eugene
Eugene took the high road this issue by not telling Siddiq Rosita didn’t actually love him. This could have easily escalated into a major fight but since they have more important issues at hand, Eugene did the right thing.
6. Dwight
According to Rick, Dwight is to not be trusted. With Jesus and Aaron leaving for The Hilltop, will Dwight make a move? The possibility gives him a ton of power.
7. Magna
Magna held her own during the Princess’ bizarre introduction this issue. Hopefully, fans get to see her page time increase even more.
8. Yumiko (+1)
Sure, Yumiko may just seem like a tag-along on this mission, but she proved how valuable she can be with walkers last issue. We’re giving her the benefit of the doubt and moving her up.
9. Jesus (-1)
Moving to the Hilltop to live happily ever after with Aaron doesn’t necessarily scream power. What it does do is leave Alexandria more vulnerable. Nice going, Jesus.
10. Negan
Although Negan’s still “on his own” in the wilderness, we still have to keep him in the rankings. As long as he’s alive he’s a threat.
11. Princess (NEW)
After months of discussion fans finally got to MEET THE PRINCESS. Although she’s mysterious and could be deceiving our heroes, she doesn’t currently hold any power with a gun to her back. Plus, if she’s as innocent as she sounds we might move her up the rankings for a while.

On the Bubble: William, Siddiq, & Aaron
