We’ve got some new Outcast coming your way! Issue #26 just dropped and we know you ALL wanna talk about it. Read the issue, come back and tell us what you thought cause you’re about to enter a land of SPOILERS.
Previously: A major turning point in the series! New characters are introduced! Big things are in store for Kyle Barnes as he’s faced with something he could never prepare for – hope! Everything changes as we celebrate our 25th issue.
This month: Kyle Barnes hones his abilities… preparing for the battle ahead.
Who are all those strangers in the beginning!? Can the Reverend be redeemed? What do you think of Kyle’s new info and where do you think his powers will go from here? Spill all your feels into a comment below! Our favorite comment this month gets a signed issue of the OUTCAST BY KIRMAN & AZACETA #26!
This was one of the best issues yet! Simon is a great new addition to the story, and I’m looking forward to finding out more of his backstory. I’m also intrigued to see how Kyle can develop his skills. So many questions as well! Who are ‘the Council’? Who are the other Outcasts who have slipped from their grasp? Where does Rev. go from here? This series just gets better and better. Paul’s artwork is on another level, as is Bettie’s colouring, and we shouldn’t forget the epic lettering from Rus. Such a great team!
This issue was really eye opening, but I’m still not sure how I feel about Kyle pushing away from Anderson. Though while Kyle lost a father, gained one in Anderson only to lose him and get his original dad back, im thinking he’s going to have some major daddy problems?
I wonder what Kyle’s dad is not telling him. More importantly what is the real name of the “Council of Wierdos”
I bought Outcast Season 1 and literally watched it all in one day, I just couldn’t stop, I might need help.
I am excited for the rest of this story arc (Cover are out of this world as usual!) and season two of the show. Oh, and bring on Redneck already ,issue 1 (ashcan) was incredible!
Just loving Outcast, taking what we think we know about demons and flipping it on its head ( literally!).Looking forward to seeing where ‘The Council’ go and how Kyle can move within restrictions he is faced with. Please don’t stop!
Without a doubt this series still blow minds, Kyle’s fathernis the other Outcast!, excellent plot twist, hookedmup with the series and can’t wait to see when the cinemax series use this plot, thank you Mr Kirkman and Mr Azaceta!
I loved this series when I began reading it but I did have a fear that it would fizzle out, I mean how far can a story go about fighting demons via exorcisms? Boy oh boy, did Kirkman show me! The direction this title has undergone is so satisfying, dealing with things beyond religious context and into realms of energy work. The last few issues in particular have just been breathtaking. I don’t trust Simon at all and I’m loving where Anderson is going as a character, he’s increasingly complex, fully deepening since his introduction at the beginning of the series. Can’t wait to se what lies ahead.
