Daniel Warren Johnson Extended Interview

Despite what most people think, even though I work at Skybound and could probably find a way to get my hands the things we make earlier than anyone outside the hallowed office walls, I don’t. I like to keep myself to the same experience that any other fan gets to have. So I wait patiently for each single issue to hit the rack of comics that sits enticingly in our lobby area. Every Wednesday, I casually stroll by and fill my bag with whatever is out that week. I go home and read each issue in bed by myself, ignoring all my other responsibilities, the same now as I did when I was a kid avoiding my homework – short-lived as that haven may have been.
