This Week in Skybound: Invincible’s Midseason Premiere and More!

With new game launches, red-hot comic previews, and Invincible Season 2’s midseason premiere, the week of March 11-15 at Skybound was one for the history books! But just in case you missed any of it, we’re here to recap it for you…

Things kicked off over at the Skybound Insiders beta site — home of our free-to-join fan rewards experience — with a recap of episode 3 of The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live. In which Rick and Michonne are reunited at last, but new dangers threaten to tear them apart forever.

Wednesday saw the release of Dark Ride #11 and Transformers #6, the concluding issue of the latter title’s first story arc, by Eisner Award-winning writer-artist Daniel Warren Johnson.

Then we offered you a first look at the second story arc of Skybound’s bestselling Transformers. It’s the title’s first issue to feature interior art by Jorge Corona, and we’re happy to report it looks like another win for the Energon Universe!

Of course the biggest news of the week was the return of Invincible! We celebrated the show’s midseason on premiere on Wednesday, the day before the episode arrived on Prime Video, by inviting our loyal Insiders to its LA premiere! Before the screening we treated them to free posters and Atom Eve pins, and creator Robert Kirkman and showrunner Simon Racioppa dropped by afterwards for a conversation about what’s to come this season.

Almost as exciting as Invincible‘s TV return is today’s launch of not one, but two new Invincible video game experience via Fortnite: Invincible Universe: Doc Seismic Attacks and Invincible Universe: GDA Combat Training. They’re both free to play!

And because we love you so much, today we also debuted the above exclusive video on “The Making of Invincible Universe: Doc Seismic Attacks.”
