Never let it be said with that Skybound snoozes on the final day of a comic convention. We closed out an epic SDCC 2023 today with more live board game demos, signings, and creator interviews at our activation-packed booth (#3735). Read on for the full breakdown of Sunday…
One of Skybound’s most popular tabletop games in recent years is Kim Joy’s Magic Bakery, a whimsical co-op game in which players run an enchanted bakery in a forest. The game is inspired by British baker and cookbook writer Kim-Joy, who helped us start the day with an interview in our live-streaming booth, along with Skybound’s own Ben Kepner. Check it out in the video below below at the 51:05 mark…
Next up, Skybound offered a live gameplay demo of our latest tabletop game, Kiss the Goblin…
Shortly afterward, we were paid a surprise visit by a last-minute guest, the legendary rapper DMC of Run DMC. You can catch his interview with our host Gina Darling at the 3:48:59 mark below…
Music was on our minds today, because we next hosted another musician, Max Bemis, of the band Say Anything. Also a comic book writer, Max’s interview can be seen at the 4:13:54 mark…
And last but by no means least, we were paid a visit by Impact Winter creator Travis Beacham, visible at the 4:54:01 mark…
After his signing today at the Skybound booth, we also caught up with Travis for a second interview exclusively for Skybound.com. We’ll have that interview, as well as plenty of others from SDCC 2023, up on the site for you soon. So keep checking back with Skybound.com — where we live every day like it’s Comic-Con!
