In a sea of big announcements this weekend at SDCC 2023, there was none bigger for Invincible fans than the official release date for Season 2 of the Prime Video adult animated series based on the Skybound comic. Robert Kirkman himself broke the news during the Saturday panel devoted to the hit show: November 3rd will see Invincible‘s long awaited return, with the first of four weekly second-season episodes. The 8-episode season’s remaining four episodes will debut in early 2024.
Kirkman also unspooled a trailer for Invincible‘s second season, which revealed the new cast members joining this year. Among them is Sterling K. Brown, whom Kirkman singled out for his role as new antagonist Angstrom Levy. Brown will be joined by over two dozen other new voice actors in Season 2, including Tatiana Maslany, Daveed Diggs, Peter Cullen, Cliff Curtis, Calista Flockhart, Scoot McNairy, Lea Thompson and Ben Schwartz. Here’s the official description and trailer…

Starring Steven Yeun, with Sandra Oh, Zazie Beetz, Grey DeLisle, Chris Diamantopoulos, Walton Goggins, Gillian Jacobs, Jason Mantzoukas, Ross Marquand, Khary Payton, Zachary Quinto, Andrew Rannells, Kevin Michael Richardson, Seth Rogen, and J.K. Simmons. Joining the Season 2 cast are Sterling K.
