Cartoonist Zoe Thorogood blew our collective minds last year with her Eisner Award-nominated autobiographical comic It’s Lonely at the Centre of the Earth. So we’re understandably beside ourselves that Thorogood has a new story in the next issue of Skybound’s Creepshow! Creepshow Vol. 2 #3 also features a tale by the talented Joel Farrelly and Goran Sudžuka. And you can sample pages from both stories, along with a gallery of the issue’s covers, after the following official info from Skybound HQ…
Today Skybound revealed a first look at interior pages from Creepshow Vol. 2 #3, the latest issue of the hugely anticipated five-issue comic book anthology based on Greg Nicotero’s hit Shudder TV series produced and licensed by Cartel Entertainment. Season 4 of the hit Shudder TV series of the same name premieres October 13 on AMC and AMC+.
Creepshow Vol.2 #3 features stories by Eisner Award winner Zoe Thorogood (It’s Lonely at the Centre of the Earth), Joel Farrelly (Tell Me a Story), and Goran Sudžuka (Ghosted, Year Zero) and will arrive in comic book shops on November 8, 2023.
First, recent 2023 Eisner Award winner for Most Promising Newcomer Zoe Thorogood tells the story of a woman who discovers the fountain of youth, and the terrifying journey into “Eternity, Eternity, Eternity”. Then, nightmarish novelist Joel Farrelly teams up with ghoulish Goran Sudžuka to tell the tale of a gem heist gone wrong with a Lovecraftian twist in “Sacrifices”.
Brian Witten is overseeing on behalf of Nicotero’s Monster Agency Productions.
In addition to the main cover by Guillem March, Creepshow Vol. 2 #3 comes with an impressive lineup of variant covers, including a cover by Zoe Thorogood and the next release in the set of 1:10 incentive connecting covers by iconic horror artist Skinner.
