ANNIE WU DEBUTS THE WALKING DEAD DELUXE CONNECTING COVERS SET

Artist Annie Wu has worn an impressive series of hats throughout her career, from magazine illustrator to The Venture Bros. character designer to comic creator (including Image’s Two Graves). It features a stunning set of connecting covers she’s created for the upcoming The Walking Dead Deluxe #85-90, presenting The Walking Dead‘s “We Find Ourselves” arc for the first time in full color!

Today Skybound revealed a stunning set of all-new The Walking Dead Deluxe connecting variant covers from comics superstar Annie Wu (Two Graves). Covering the “We Find Ourselves” arc of the landmark comic series, Wu’s covers depict fan-favorite characters fiercely confronting walkers.

These all-new covers will appear as variants to The Walking Dead Deluxe #85-90, with each issue presenting the series in full color format for the first time from writer/creator Robert Kirkman, with art by Charlie Adlard and colors by Dave McCaig. Fans will also receive a new look at the worldwide pop culture phenomenon with pinups and exclusive “Cutting Room Floor” commentary by Kirkman, celebrating the secret history of the series.

The Walking Dead Deluxe #85 (Lunar codes listed below | $3.99) will be available at comic book shops and digital platforms including Amazon Kindle, Apple Books, comiXology, and Google Play on Wednesday, March 20, 2024.
