This first episode was well done and brought up some of the issues and frustration Kirby had with Lee.
There were some inaccuracies however. For example, this scene where Lee is in the same room with Kirby at the drawing table probably never happened. At that time, Kirby would come in the office to drop off the last issue’s penciled pages Stan to add dialog. Then they would discuss the next issue’s plot. This sometimes happened over the phone if he didn’t come into the Marvel offices. Jack would then go home to long Island and plot, create, pencil the story and art for the next issue. In some cases, a very different story than what was discussed.
