Today Skybound and Image Comics, in partnership with global children’s book publisher AMEET, revealed an exciting first look at the graphic novel release of LEGO® NINJAGO®: SHATTERSPIN. The new graphic novel collects the previously published issues #1-2 of the comic book series, plus three all-new chapters that conclude the epic story from critically acclaimed writer/artist Tri Vuong (Everyday Hero Machine Boy, LEGO NINJAGO: Garmadon). The latest installment of the worldwide phenomenon will be available everywhere books are sold in June 2025.
New and longtime fans of the LEGO NINJAGO saga can expect to uncover the secret history of the fan-favorite villain Garmadon with familiar faces and shocking first appearances in this new collaboration between the LEGO Group and Skybound.
"This book's a great one for LEGO NINJAGO fans looking to unlock the mysteries of Shatterspin, as well as readers searching for a page-turner action-adventure,” said Nachie Marsham, Senior Editor at Skybound. “Anyone who reads it is certainly going to want more!"
As war erupts in Ninjago, young champion Garmadon sets off on a quest to discover the truth behind the legend of The Forbidden Five - and a secret power that could turn the tide of the Serpentine War! Can Garmadon resist wielding this forbidden technique – or is corruption the only path toward saving his beloved Ninjago?
This is the second LEGO branded comic book series release from the landmark partnership between multiplatform content company Skybound Entertainment and global children’s book publisher AMEET.
LEGO NINJAGO: SHATTERSPIN is the result of an unparalleled collaboration between AMEET, Skybound, and writer/artist Tri Vuong and the LEGO Group’s LEGO NINJAGO transmedia team that connects the comic book series with the TV show and product line.
LEGO NINJAGO: SHATTERSPIN (978-1-5343-9372-5 | SRP $12.99) will be available at comic book shops on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, and at booksellers, along with digital platforms including Amazon Kindle, Apple Books, and Google Play on Tuesday, June 10, 2025.
